Here in the UK, the Panorama 3 is currently on sale for £499. Out of the box, I preferred it's sound quality to that of my Harman Kardon Citation Multibeam 1100. One aspect of the performance of the Panorama 3 I have only seen mentioned in one KZbin video is that, like any high quality speaker, the drivers need to be run in. After 5 days of heavy use, it's sound quality has noticeably improved.

Do you listen to stereo music with the Panorama 3. On a scale of 1 to 10... how would you rate it? Do you use a music streaming platform and if you don't mind.. which one..

I swapped out the arc for this. Don’t regret it. As said by another poster,it needs heavily running in. Absolute bargain if you can find it for 499 in the uk

There's no such thing as 'run in', especially when talking about tiny 1"-2" speakers. It would be virtually impossible to tell a difference in anything that small.

What an honest review vs others being courteous to their sponsors. *cough Keep up the good work!

Did you adequately run the bar in? I have never found a B&W product that did not improve significantly when run-in. In fact, the sound was incomparable before and after the run-in period

Thanks to your well-informed, objective reviews I was able to find a favorite soundbar I plan on buying - the Klipsch Cinema 800. Thank you so much for that! Just one question: I have my gaming PC directly connected to my living room TV, a 15 years old full HD Panasonic Viera that just doesn't want to die. How would I connect the soundbar? Via HDMI, PC to soundbar, then via ARC passthrough to the TV? Thanks!!
@neverenoughtech2 жыл бұрын
If you have ARC on the TV do it that way. Otherwise, optical
@annabolicka45082 жыл бұрын
@@neverenoughtech Thank you for your feedback!! Nope, the TV is long before ARC, but I like picture quality so I have a hard time thinking about throwing it out. I also read that the Cinema 800 has HDMI passthrough - does the TV still have to be ARC-compatible if I connect the PC to soundbar, then the soundbar to the HDMI?

The panorama one and two are so much better than these more contemporary versions. Is everything gets slimmer and sleeker, the quality goes down- tiny speakers in tiny enclosures just do not work well.

Daniel, can you do a review on what soundbars have the best dialogue or speech enhancements
@Antibackgroundnoise11 ай бұрын
This would be for my bedroom TV and it's sale for £299. It's a little bit longer than I would have preferred but hey. I like to listen to my music with hi-fi quality. Knowing this particular sound bar hopefully will give me the ability to connect to my hi-fi quality tidal music. Other than that it'll primarily be used to listen for morning TV. Personally, I don't think hi-res music makes a huge difference but hi-fi quality compared to lossy certainly does. Just wondering if anyone happens to know of any other sound bars that able to connect to tidal hi-fi preferably with a similar sort of budget.

Great job bro but not for me because doesn’t have the subwoofer out! Lol 😂
@stianjarnass2 жыл бұрын
Of course the sound bars can't outperform a subwoofer. The point is to replace 5.1 or more speakers

Some soundbars boast a .1 some don’t. If you do then your bass better be darn good for a soundbar … my general take on the issue

Another great review but the bar sounds like a bit of a miss.

Is it better than the Sonos Beam 2?
@neverenoughtech2 жыл бұрын
Yes
@enjoyeverymomentvideos26872 жыл бұрын
Find beam 2 on the discount , get the sub 3 = same $$$ for panorama 3 and you will get a better sounding overall experience. After that the next step is to add Sonos one sl's for the back and Sonos will be a lot better setup then this standalone.
@VidVayder2 жыл бұрын
@@enjoyeverymomentvideos2687 I have the Beam 2 on backorder. Planning to kit it out as you have suggested, but waiting for (rumoured) Sub Mini and switching One SL for IKEA Symfonisk book shelves to save some money.
@enjoyeverymomentvideos26872 жыл бұрын
@@VidVayder symfonisk sound is a little bit worse and have a little bit of distortion when playing them loud. Just a heads up. Sub mini might take ages to anounce and will be less Powerful then sub 3 and if the cost is only like 200$ less or so then I would still go for sub 3.
@VidVayder2 жыл бұрын
@@enjoyeverymomentvideos2687 Thanks for the note on Symfonisk. FYI, I live in a tiny flat in the UK so I probably won't even go 30% on volume! Same case for the sub really. I do want good bass but for our tiny place, I don't need window shattering bass 😆 So I'm thinking I can save a few hundred bob to get just as much as I need.

I'm calling it: the all-in-one soundbar will quietly go away in a few years when consumers realize that virtual surround is less impressive than actually surround with a separate subwoofer.
@neverenoughtech2 жыл бұрын
I don’t think many believe they are intended to perform at that level. I think they’ll become kind of the new improved norm (over last gen soundbars) and some some will offer discrete surround and bass options. Maybe they’ll stop using the terminology
@tyt2lynnin12 жыл бұрын
it wont because the masses are lazy and the average consumer just want something simple to get even if its just a taste of what real surround sound sound like.
@ery0ma34 Жыл бұрын
Imho it's the backwards. If all-in-one soundbars are getting more impressive and affordable. Actual surround will go away more instead. Actual surround is really expensive and too many wires.

anyone please help. what the fuck do i do? excuse my french but not really. i listen to everything from judas priest, to chopin, 50 cent and 60s jazz music. i need all the music range i can get, since i do a lot of youtube listening. electronic music is also very important (house, minimal, d'n'b). I might have a chance to listen to all of them but ill have to travel around the city - no store hold all 3 of these soundbars at 1 place (b&w, bose and sonos that is). In movies i mostly care about dialogues, i got no need in fooling myself im in a movie theater. I have a bose bt speaker at work - mostly listen to jazz there and i feel like bose gives the best mid range most of the time, bass is also there, but really depends on the track. maybe im tripping and its as simple as "i should get the sonos cuz i have an iphone" - is it? b&w has some crazy nice sound in their in ear headphones and the design is very pleasing, but it is more expensive where im from. considerably more (like 200 quid). for now i dont feel like its worth it, especially given that bluetooth comment i heard in this video. will very much appreciate an advice. i fucking hate capitalism
