I have the PX8 too and... those Pi8 simply blew them away. They are hands down the best earbuds no contest. Simply crazy for some buds

I’ve got both too. The Pi8s are more balanced and have a wider soundstage than but the PX8s sound better overall. Of course sound is subjective but they’re pretty close for sure.

@xdarshan I've exagerated a bit with "they blew them" i'd say but damn they are good, especialy for buds. I honestly thought PX8 were on another league and hard to beat and bang... these buds simply are pretty much as good... impressive

Pi7 is only 4 hours of Battery Life with ANC off. But now that the Pi8 are 6.5 hours with ANC on, im curious. I wonder if the Pi8 sound better than. The Pi7. I will get the Mint Green 💚 with goldish tan bezel around glass tap button or Navy Blue one with silver microphone.

The sound of these on lossless codec is phenomenal . They even sound better than airpods pro 2 when used on an iPhone using aac

@@JBentham1523 Because APP2 sound really good on an iphone. Hard to beat if you want a balanced sound, they aren't the most fun, but they have great tuning and quality drivers.

I tried the Pi8 and can't say I'm blown away. The Denon Perl Pro sound better for me. The Sennheiser Momentum 4 also sound similar- cheaper and more intuitive app.

I just upgraded from the Pi7 S2, and they do sound better, my only gripe I have is that they get a lot of interference in crowded areas like a busy gym. I have a ZFold 6. I literally had go into developer mode and switch to codec AAC instead of Qualcomm Aptx Audio to get the min interference. I tested the sound quality between AAC and Aptx and I cant notice a difference in music streaming experience in my QOBUZ app. I don't know if its a Samsung issue or what not but It is not acceptable to get that kind of interference for a pair of $440 true wireless ear buds. I did not have an issue with my Pi7 S2. I mainly use them at the gym for a premium listening experience. I have the Galaxy Buds 3 Pro and I get zero interference, but to say they sound better than the Pi8 is a major understatement. I have a work iPhone I will try them out at the gym to check out the performance.

@bubbabfp1 try bose ultra earbuds you'll be blown away got both bose sound alot better. Don't no but it's says mad for iphone they probably sound better on iphone! But on my galaxy fold 6 they sound muffled after you've been listening to bose.

@dinmk Honestly I have the Bose quietcomfort, and yes I never had interference with them, but the Pi8 sound superior to any Bose I've used. Just such a bummer that other Bluetooth interference affects the Pi8 so much in crowded areas. Switching to AAC helped a lot, I'm gonna try them for another week. Sad to say I had the same interference experience with the Bang and Olufsen Beoplay EX.

Nah, they are not messing with these. Bowers & Wilkins are on the Marshall level sound quality, Bose can not compete at that level. I have Bose, several. You probably do't have these, so that is why you might be making this blanket statement. Respectfully...

Nice review. I still have inoperable Pi7’s. Broke my heart when they went down. My #1 PRIORITY IS SOUND. I want the Pi8’s like yesterday. Bowers & Wilkins are LEGIT! J, everything that you said I agree 💯%. I had my eyes on the Denon Perl Pro’s but I could not pass the aesthetics. Not for me. But the Pi8’s are CRAZY. I am imagining those 12 mm drivers thumpin’n in my ears. OMG

@@Amateur2k, thanks for your insight/ opinion. Appreciate you. I am happy rock’in my Sennheiser Momentum True Wireless 4’s which I am extremely happy with. One day, I might try the Pi8’s. I really like the soundstage on the Bowers and Wilkins. I also had the Bang and Olufsen first gen, the sound was excellent but their noise cancellation was mediocre at best. I was looking for something new from them but they went to the stem style of which I am definitely not a fan of. I will looking at their next iteration as well Thanks @Amateur2k

My favorite pair is the Philips Fidelio T2 at the moment I will probably get the next B&O TwS ( not the EX)

The buds 3 pro follow the harman curve. If you're not into that well of course the sennheisers sound better to you because of their exaggerated v shape curve. The Sennheiser Wireless options are not audiophile approved. It is all sound preferences at the end of the day. But the average consumer likes that signature, which is why bose, beats, sony, apple all do that rubbish sound signature which I don't prefer lol.

Hey, tell me what codecs the iPhone supports because these fleas Aptx Adaptive, Lossness, Classic. However, the smartphone you present has only the basic AAC and no other. Make reviews using the flagship model on Android that owns and supports the above codecs will be more reliable. Regards

OR, you could just buy what you want and test for yourself...that would be better. I have nearly EVERY high end phone from Android...sooo, yeah.
