Bowflex Max Trainer M7 clunking sound

So this was the fix for the same problem I had with the same model. If it helps anybody I got my washer at Ace Hardware. 5/8” ID - 1” OD #2806 C/212-E.

Gianni, thank you very much. My family and I have had to deal with this noise for so many months. You saved me a lot of time and frustration, because I was going to disassemble part of the machine to find out where the noise was coming from. This is a simple fix.

made my own washers with a plastic lid, LOL. worked perfect and free.

It’s called a WAVE WASHER! That’ll solve the problem. There MUST be a Wave Washer in between the crank and pedal arm.

Awesome. Thanks. I sprayed wd40 on everything thinking that would help. It did not. This really helps. I am up to 30 min on a fat burner routine now. Time goes very quickly as the tension changes, etc.
