The ball went behind her? Where I used to work organised a night of Bowling as an attenpt to team build. Our supervisor who had never bowled anything except crown green sent the ball backwards, but he lauched it into the air. You shoud picture the scene as we all dived for cover when the ball hit the table and sent the drinks flying everywhere. We couldn't stop laughing, and he got ribbed about it for weeks afterwards. Sadly the bowling ally is closed now, it is an Aldi warehouse. What a waste.

About the black pudding I always take it of because leave it on I notice taking it off when it’s cooked it also breaks some the black pudding away

I always buy Stornoway black pudding but remember most butchers have good black pudding than supermarkets as they are processed and your eating black pudding with bacon egg sausage mushrooms beans tomatoes lol so it's a taste that compliments each other Stornoway black pudding always for me!! The avendale chippy is fab I've been to the one in Aberdeen enjoy Scotland! Keep cosy, Cathy ❤

You can cook the haggis that way, and yes, we take the plastic off because it sometimes sticks and everything else looks scrumptious.That restaurant is amazing, we visited there when we were very lucky to stay in the RAF accommodation up at the beach. Costco do a lovely Stornoway black pudding, not so anaemic looking than that one you tried. Also, in Scotland when you get fish supper it’s usually haddock, cod isn’t as popular here than it is in England, we also don’t fry the fish with skin on. Looks like you all had a great day at the ten pin bowling 😊 What a lovely cat Tracey has, beautiful! 😍

It was a family game, with all the ups and downs that entails. The winner was the family. Taste test was a bit limited, unless you are a carnivore lol I am never sure how black pudding should look when it is cooked? Mushy or crispy? My dehydrated crisps were RUBBISH. Will try Airdry next.

Cook the haggis as directed and it’s lovely with mash potatoes and swede. Much better than frying it. Thumbs up though on an interesting selection.

You people must enjoy torturing me. I LOVE black pudding (Scottish person here) Have not had any for ages as there is no place to buy them where I am in Toronto, Canada. All the Scottish butchers and bakeries have closed down. There used to be a butchers and bakers right next door to each other and we could get all the stuff we missed from the old country. Sadly no more. 😭

I always play with the lane bumpers up - otherwise gutterballs come ten a penny! I paused the video to look at the whale thing - it’s really an oversized piece of haddock - to win the prize, you have to eat it all yourself - no sharing it with other members of your party - nothing says you can’t put condiments on it - if you succeed, you either get to eat another “whale” or a dessert of your choice - you also get a mug that says that you tackled the Ashvale Whale - and won - plus a certificate with your name on it to say likewise - never been there - just hit pause - the rule is that you eat it all yourself - no offering bits of it to others in your party - for your consumption only - don’t think there’s a time limit - have a glass of water handy to get it to go down into your digestive tract! I think that te plastic on the haggis is heat proof. From what I can remember from having it with my Scottish Grandmother ( God rest her soul ) your supposed to boil it, don't think she ever fried it. they were good and happy times in the 50's and 60's, and I'm getting to old, but we still have the memories.

Well, a few surprise. Mayo' a disappointment. The cheaper black pudding is superior to the well known expensive brand. No peppercorn sauce in the sausage balls. Tasty just the same. Nevertheless the whole setup looks fabulous and tasty. Really enjoyable to watch.❤ I'll be looking out for you all on your next broadcast. Might have been Stornaway Black Pudding. Stornaway is the main town on the Isle of Lewis - Outer Hebrides, off Scotland. Renowned for their Black Pudding, amongst other things.
