things i love about your swing: The WRIST CUFF at the top of your swing, the POWER throughout the swing, and the Y finish (arms up, like you're about to hug the lanes). Clean as ever!

Man, with the amount of power you have and fairly quick approach, I still don't see how you do that in sneakers! Super impressive! Every time I try, my momentum pushes me forward every time. Also, I wish that was an option in my area. The centers here, all owned by the same person, don't allow non-bowling shows on the approach. I always thought that was stupid. I think you're the only one I've seen bowl this way, competitively anyways. Keep up the great work man!

Thanks. It does nothing to the approach...lol. People are just stuck in their ways. I've used LH shoes to get around that bogus rule before.

@@hihbowling I’m in Hawaii and I’ve always been a planter not a slider like you said it doesn’t feel right over time it messes up your knee especially if you are more heavy set. Is there any specific type of street shoes you know is generally accepted? I’ve tried finding info on it but the most I’ve seen is people claim non marking shoes to be safe. But non of them jawns look good lol. I want to use my basketball shoes to bowl so bad. So my question is do you specifically have a pair of street shoes that you only use for bowling? Becuz I think that’s the main thing that other bowlers always bitch about bringing stuff on the approach that messes up their slide. In a big cash league there’s always guys that complain about the approach so I know they’d snitch if I tried using non bowling shoes lol. Any specific type of shoes you recommend? Gonna try it next time I go cuz the sliding stuff just ain’t for me man lol.

Very cool and informational video. Ive been battling low rev rate issues for a long time. Hard to get revs i feel with a bad back. Something i tried last week and had decent results was two fingers with only half my thumb in with a heavy cup on the wrist then once my thumb is out on release then get as much hook i can generate with my fingers. Do you think this is a good strategy?
@hihbowling
@hihbowling 5 жыл бұрын
Do what is best for you. Everything you do you have to be comfortable doing. The 1/2 thumb will help you see the difference in hitting the ball. If it's going to be a long term thing get refitted and get layouts that will match your game with the new rotation you're going to have.

New bowlers that wanna hook the ball need to watch you instead of doing that hop, skip, bounce, gallop, shuffle, dip low, spread your feet two-handed bullshit. The cool part Jason are your fundamentals, keeping it simple so you can free up your mind and hit it harder. As you pointed out, there's a fine line between having a free swing and letting gravity and body motion work versus forcing the shot. I haven't seen one 2-hander that doesn't force the shot, Belmonte is the exception. Question Mr. Eubanks... I know a majority of my hit comes off of my ring finger, I was told that it's incorrect. I don't see how. Axis tilt is good, track is good, revs are good, all good. So how can that be wrong ??
@hihbowling

It’s simple you release it like a yoyo and cock your hand for more axis rotation it isn’t all end over end.
