I would say that spares are more important in bowling. If you miss two or three spares in your game, then it goes down the toilet.

Wow, you were getting way more hook than necessary. I know how that goes, man. I've been there. By the way, great job on the 6-7-10 pickup. And some of you guys need to be nicer. He was obviously getting way more hook than necessary, as I already pointed out. Dunno if it was because his bowling balls were the kind that are designed to hook a lot, or because of dry lane conditions. But, regardless, too much hook can make it hard for ANYONE to do good. So, be nice, guys.

Exactly. So many ppl think that getting strikes means your good it doesnt. Ive bowled over 15 300's and spares is what makes you a good bowler, ask any pro and they will tell you the same.

It's a matter of playing the angles. The optimum angle of hitting the pocket for the highest chance for a strike is between 4 and 6 degrees. It minimizes deflection of the ball which allows it to carry through to the 8-pin (given you're a right-handed bowler).

lol believe it or not i got the Total NV, but it seems to only work for light oil lanes, i keep getting recomended for the roto grip cell or one pearl....but i was lookin at ultimate inferno and hammer bite

Not bad. Im currently avg 230 on a house shot and 220 on a sport shot. I usually will go practice and just shot for spares not strikes. Or work on timing and technique.

you might wanna play a tighter line between 3rd and 2nd arrow. It seems as if you are playing 2nd arrow but the backend is really quick. Try playing a little more inside, and work on getting more consistent throws. good luck!

yah its very true. its quite obvious though. but im 17 and i book around 220... ive been bowling for a few years i always start practice out by throwing my 7's and 10's then move onto hitting my marks. trying to never miss, this is a basic way to improve your game... also if your on a sport shot you need to be percise unless you have a rev rate of around 550 like me you can area shoot on a sport shot which is useful...

since the ball would be going at an angle when or if it bounces off the pins u have a better chance of striking cuz it wont bounce as much when it hits the pocket

If you give revolutions to a ball it will hook and therefore allowing for more strikes

It would seem that alot of your overhooking problem is due to changes in your ball speed. The slower you throw the ball, the more the ball will hook, no matter how many revs are on the ball

Well i don wat oil pattern is that but wat i know is that da angle is too wide n the revs too weak aint enough 2 bring it smashing in2 da pocket...should;ve used a much stronger ball 4d wide angle n able 2 compensate da revs...

Not bad, you're good at picking up spares but you're not great. Find a mark and you can get that strike almost every time. I'm 16 and i average around 165 bowling straight. My highest game is a 248

sped up your ball and put more of a toarck on it and its allways a good idea to stand on the far left of the lane or right and am through the middle arrow throwing it that way you are alot less likley to not be able to adapt if its slick you should only be going out to the 2 arrow wich right past that is usually the point of no return and i hope your scores improve from when this vid was taken

For starters try holding the ball like you are shaking hands with a friend . throw it that way and see what happens you should have a little hook . also you should stand in the same spot and learn to shoot for the arrows . for beginners i say stand on the second dot from the right and shoot at the second arrow to the right .

These bowling balls don't match well with your ball speed, especially the Total Inferno. Try a Mid-Performance ball.

Dude abandon the hook shot obviously you cant hack it. Try a straight shot from right to left direct into the pocket. You are inconsistent and hook it and hope for the best. anyone can sling a hook shot and clearly you cant play it. dont try to be a pro just play for average man

lmao again. sure you know a lot about bowling. Reason I dont go pro is b/c I have a great job as a air traffic controller. I bowl in the regional tournaments when I can get away from work. Hell there are a lot of pros that actually have a another job besides bowling. Norm Duke runs his own property company, he flips and sells houses. I know plenty of ppl who have a high avg on sport shots and dont go pro bc they have a great job. Again, stop trolling your making yourself look stupid.
