Honestly I like horror being the content put out on KZbin over Twitch. First of all there is no escape for Lissy by just talking to chat. And most importantly the vibe of the game is not ruined by people spamming jumpscare alerts.

For me, the horror night streams were really like a twitch version of these vids: Horror gameplay, sprinkled with Lissy's anecdotes, but plus the interaction with the live audience. I was so hyped for them. I could sit down with a bowl of chips and a glass of milk, get scared with all the others, and chuckle about a funny story that Lissy tells about. But now, these streams are jumpscare alerts with essays attached to them, Lissy trying to talk about every story that someone tells in the chat (which I understand she cares about every single one of them but it simply does not work out), sprinkled with the dust of the gameplay of a supposed horror game that has no chance of building up tension. The last stream I watched which worked okay was Night in the Woods because it had it moments in which you really just run about the city fetching the next hit poem. But Visage man, my ears were about to quit and go on a vacation at an international airport just to get a lil bit of silence. I guess (for me) their Twitch stream concept just does not work for heavy games (which need focus) and horror games (which need build-up). In the end, as long as they have fun, there's nothing wrong with it. I just have to not tune in at Twitch, but lurk the vids here on YT (recently getting RE8, It takes Two, LiS, and new TNTL, now this horrofying Poppy thing, and on and on and on), so... I keep chillin' here and everyone's happy 😚
