The lip movements are to accommodate dubbing in multiple languages as well as multiple cultures having “facial cues” when talking. It comes across cartoonish for English speakers but for the rest of the world it’s not even noticeable. What I mean is the exaggerated movements are intentional ( I don’t want any specific language group coming at me)

She can act in movies very well but she's not experienced with voice acting which is strange but Cristina vee who has way more experience with voice acting, does all the grunts, battle effort, screams, etc. I kinda wish she voices her in my opinion.

The stages do look beautiful and detailed in this game for sure! Not only that, but there is multiple versions in them you can unlock, with times of day, or elements being destroyed in other versions... Don't think it ever happened before, it gbrings even more variety into the game.

I think this game definitely has the best story of any Mortal Kombat game, i really wasn't sure about the story from the trailers, but it totally won me over. The characters are fantastic, the plot is good, the voice acting is great and the cinematography of the cutscenes is genuinely film quality; everything from the lighting to the sound design is absolutely fantastic.

6:36 - Megan Fox is mostly fine to good in the character interactions and her Tower ending, but bad and poorly mixed in the story (she stands out more, because everyone else is so much better/campy.) Seems like she wasn’t given retakes/bad direction/audio mixing/NRS thought she was fine, so it’s not all on her (other video games have similar problems and they aren’t celebrities.)

Honestly, I've not been a big fan of NRS' stories, with MK11 obviously being seen by me as an abomination of storytelling. But MK1 genuinely surprised me and it was good. Really good. And Raiden's chapter was probably my favorite chapter because of all the character specific scenes of said characters just talking. And outside of Injustice 2, this is probably the best story NRS has produced, including Injustice 2 this is the second best.

I dunno if Megan is worse than Rhonda. Rhonda sounded like a robot. Megan made Nitara sound like a sorority girl. They really did the rest of our queens really well though. Honestly i could watch a whole series about Queen Sindel, Mileena, and Kitana. It really would be some GoT stuff i feel. I recommend you all beat the game with Mileena. Theres some small moments yall should see in the finale that just work out so much better storywise if you do it with her. ❤

Fox definitely isn’t worse than Ronda, it’s just recency bias, if Ronda was in this game and fox was in mk11 everybody would be saying Ronda is worse, I feel like some of Fox’s intro dialogue is not bad but her story dialogue sticks out a ton especially surrounded by all the other voice actors. At the end of the day both Ronda and Fox sucked lol, I feel like some people just don’t remember how bad Ronda was because it was 4 years ago and Fox is brand new, they both totally lack the emotion in their delivery that’s needed

Hahaha, no. Not even close. You realize people can still see Rhonda's acting and actually compare them side by side? Also, that a MASSIVE amount of people still play MK11 to this day? Recency bias doesn't even exist in this case, we just know how to discern terrible acting when we see it. Megan gets PAID to do this. This is her job. She has the talent and she used exactly zero of that in this game. She deadpanned her lines, had zero inflection in her words, I'd actually be surprised if she weren't literally reading off a script and finished after her first attempt. Rhonda isn't even a voice actor and the worst I can say about her is that "she's not good at acting and she was boring". Megan sounded BORED. She has zero passion for the project and it's completely obvious. No respectable actor would have let this happen, I don't even know how the people she hires to deal with this stuff even let this happen. People are really just using "recency bias" in place of "I don't really have a reason to say otherwise, but they're wrong."
