I really want to give BG the benefit of the doubt. I really do. But we have drivers using race cars (that are fairly expensive to even buy, let alone make) as weapons and not taking the safety of the other drivers. Any half-sane track owner would ban those two from their tracks for life.

Usually the short tracks I went to watched races or my dad ran on? They banned these drivers for the rest of the year. NASCAR have not done enough. They did banned a driver here and there, but they are not doing it. Kyle Busch, Kurt Busch, Carl Edwards and Brad K. along with Joey Logano all should have been parked since they get their tempers riled up, and neartly killing others. The problem is they let these guys go at it thinking it would draw fans to watch the race.

I'm just waiting for the day that NASCAR finally pulls out of historic Bowman Gray. I'm a race fan here in the Northeast, and I enjoy watching good RACING. Incidents like this rarely happen here, but this seems to happen weekly there, and it's a black eye on the sport. It's about time the track sent a message to both of these clowns and suspend both of them for at least the remainder of this year. On top of that, NASCAR, as the sanctioning body should do the same to keep this feud from moving to another facility. And what is with all the police officers within the track/pit area? Have track officials lost control of their drivers to the point that the police presence is required?? If that's the case, then it's time for some serious change. Hopefully before someone gets hurt!

Everyone's complaining but it's pretty clear that track isnt hurting for spectators who by the way went crazy for the drama...as a racer this kind of behavior pisses me off, HOWEVER maybe it's a necessary evil? I know an empty track equals shit payouts and shit payouts mean I cant race. My home track has a couple running fueds and honestly I've only ever seen them reck each other and the fans love it...just my 2 cent's.

Bowman Grey is a sorry facility, it's too small to run high powered modifieds. If they didn't bump and bash you'd see nothing but single file racing from start to finish. Nobody ever accomplishes a pass on the outside, which is what makes it such a crummy track. I've raced the Speedrome in Indianapolis and it's the same way. It's the roughest place I've ever raced, they beat my rear bumper off. Every turn I got bashed, I spent tons of laps on the outside trying to finish a pass, it's damn near impossible. But you don't see one fight after another up there. You don't see much fighting at dirt tracks either, bashing on someone's rear bumper doesn't do you much good on dirt, it just slows you both down. The damndest thing I've ever witnessed was at Twin Cities in Indiana. Two guys crash, and one gets out and just beats the living shit out of a guy. They had to load up the guy into an ambulance and haul him to a hospital, and the guy you administrated the ass whupping climbed back into his car and finished the race. I couldn't believe it. Bowman Grey just causes this kind of trouble, if they sat drivers out for a month or season it'd calm things down. Make them post a bond to race again, one that you forfeit if you get into a mess again. Add the money to the points fund. Bowman Grey is like going ot the fights and a race breaks out.

Bowman Gray is one of the worst tracks I've ever seen. It's a demo derby on a running track, essentially. Absolutely pitiful facility. Yeah those guys get way out of hand, but it's not the facility's fault. They just keep the catch fence up and butts in the bleachers. NASCAR is responsible for the drivers. But they need to do something about some of these guys, Burt Meyers in particular. His brother Jason isn't as bad, if he's even that bad at all, but I do agree that NASCAR needs to do something about the drivers.

What a No Talent Hack Junior Miller is. Everyone there knew that Junior was gonna go take out Burt, and the track allowed it to happen. The funniest thing? - Junior wasn't even fast enough to catch Burt and he started in front of him! Junior had to wait on him like a pansy! The track needs to drop the hammer on Miller, but of course they won't because they don't have a backbone and won't suspend a popular driver. The track needs to do it, they are gonna get someone hurt allowing this type of shit to happen. I'd guess 80% of the people that attend this track don't give a shit about the racing. They attend to see the strife and fights that racing on a piece of shit track like BG causes. You can have a car a second quicker than the guy on the inside and you aren't going to get around him. It's a one line track, that causes people to start pushing those in front, and next thing you know you have bad blood. I raced a few times at a place like BG, the Speedrome in Indy. They were rough as a cob up there.I bet I spent 25 laps on the outside trying to finish off a pass. Lap after lap went by and I couldn't quite get it done. It's frustrating as hell, if you race there on a regular basis you learn to just knock them up and get it over with. If BG got rid of the troublemakers nobody would come to watch one line no pass racing. They shouldn't run anything bigger than a gokart at that place.

In the Northeast there aren't as many race fans, this isn't NASCAR country. But my local track Seekonk Speedway has some fantastic racing. I saw a pro stock race where the leaders were side-by-side for 20+ laps
