I like how spun drivers tend to track right back onto the racing line. A lot of tracks cars will tend to slide towards the wall or down towards the apron. Here it's right in the middle, in front of whoever made the contact.

Hometown track. Love it! Except Tim Brown. Some of us know his history all too well. Especially him and Junior Miller, lol. I'm glad to see the Myers boys still gettin it and Lee Jeffreys. Miss seeing those guys in the pits. Lot of notable names im hearing i can't believe still racing out there. Oh to answer the question of cost. Burt told a while back around 100 to 150 grand or so for good factory parts and pending what engine you want to run. 50 grand gets you started in semi new. He put it something like that. But that was years ago. Fun fact: modifieds are known to run faster lap times than cup cars at Bristol.

How much does a competitive modified cost to build these days?

Kenny Wallace has a video about building a dirt modified and the costs. For this level of racing, figure around $50-100k, sans motor. New everything adds up quick.

If only this track was a little wider in the corners or a little longer on straightaways otherwise way more exciting than other racing!
