Bowman Gray Stadium - Street Stock (07.09.11)

The very controversial and emotional 104.1 WTQR Street Stock race from Bowman Gray Stadium on July 9th, 2011. Billy Gregg (98) turns Matt Cotner (27) from the lead and Cotner eventually retaliates on Gregg. Not to be the only headline, David Sumner (1) gets taken out of the lead, but takes his frustration on out eventual race winner John McNeal (99).
A positive note is rookie sensation John Holleman IV had his career best finish of 2nd place.

I am glad no one got hurt. Drivers have helmets and roll cages to protect them. The track crew has big metal gaurd rails. The stadium can deal with drivers with suspensions and fines. Runnig out onto the track and getting between two race cars with angry drivers is a very stupid thing to do.

driver of the 27 should have been arrested for what he did He was loose and clearly slower than the 98 but he had no regards for the trackworker

Agreed - Great video work RacingRulz. Great attitude adjustment Matt Cotner. And although not shown on the video - great wotk by the BGS buggy driver - Billy's fat ass triex walking back from the south turn. He made it about 1/4 of the way before they sent the buggy for him. LOL.
