But playing botw isn't just about the story, it's about stealing a chicken from a stable and taking him to meet his brethren in Rito Village. It's about bouncing off of a frozen enemy at light speed. It's about cheating in a shield surfing minigame by blasting bombs into yourself at extreme velocity. It's about the freedom to do all that and still be playing the game as intended. Bowser's Fury is just "oh look cat, oh wait, that's not supposed to be a cat! Haha funny good one nintendo," and it's still fun
