I started archery during the Corona period, and couldn't find a left bow anywhere! I found a used hoyt splash on second hand and then discovered how difficult it is to tune it without the help of a pro bow shop. That's why I chose the SS34, no left bow could be tested in Europe from any brand! So I ordered it and am very happy with my decision! I recommend that the pro shops have more left-handed bows for testing in their shop, you are excluding many left-handed shooters or shooters with a left dominant eye. I hope you review this SS34 again after a few months!

I was a Mathews guy for over 20 years. I'm now shooting a Solution SS. I literally shot the X80 and Solution SS last year a dozen times each wishing they would combine them. They did, and i'm totally in love with the new SX80 for this year lol. The SS 34 would be my second choice hands down. The riser is longer than their target bow lol. I was shocked when I realized how much better the Bowtech felt to me than the Mathews. Those SS cams are amazing. Love your archery videos, hope to see more of your new bow 👍🏹

I went from a Realm X to a V3X and also have a Halon 6 I play with. Theres plus's and minus to the draw cycles. Bowtech was MUCH harsher towards the front and middle but way smoother at the end. Mathews is sooooo smooth till the dump. I do miss my realm and will probably do a Bowtech Next year since I got a V3X in July.

@@azlongboard4855 to me the VX3 felt like it had triangle shaped cams lol. The draw cycle, the noise and the vibration was no different to me than my 21 year old Mathews Outback. @@dannydyer9961 I love these cams. My only complaint is they add a lot of height and im already 6'4 shooting in my basement lol. I actually picked up a halon cause i wanted to feel the original version of these cams and man, they got it right from the get go IMO.

Over the past 30 months I have been fortunate to own and shoot the following bows: V3 31 V3 27 V3X 29 V3X 33 Phase 4 33 Image Ventum 33 Ventum 33 Pro VTM 34 RX-7 Ultra Prime Black 3 Prime Black 5 Prime Inline 3 Prime Inline 1 Prime REVEX 4 Bowtech Solution SS Bowtech SS34 I know, that is a lot of bows, but legit I have owned all of those and shot them and sold most of them in Ebay or traded them at my local shop. The Bowtech SS34 is EASILY the best bow of this group and 2nd place is a distant second and that would be the V3X 33. I know, it is totally personal and different for all. I just wanted to share that as someone who has had a chance to really shoot a lot of bows - the SS34 is just incredible. Pros - smoothest draw with no competition, zero shock or vibe, Deadlock system is light years ahead of all other cam lean systems, solid velocity, very forgiving, highly accurate if you do your part, excellent and highly repeatable grip. Cons - crappy factory strings (serving separation on cables in less than 50 shots), no decent 2-piece quiver options, no integrated sight option. Thanks!

Bowtech has always been SUPER easy to tune even with their yoke tunes from before. Ive never understood this argument for 99% of archers though. 99.9% of archers (hunters in particular) will NEVER change the tune on their bow. Because of that statement ive never understood why the "tunability" or a bow is so important. To me something WAY more important is how it STAYS in tune. Love that you got another vid up! We will need to colab something on AT for us!
@Gibsonlife573 Жыл бұрын
One thing I've learned is a way to keep a bow in tune is to build good strings strings are everything when it comes to a bow staying in tune I do believe that the Yoke system on the odor bows and the string material would cause them to lose it tune quicker I don't have no studies to prove that but it just seems like it would you know being that the yolks are a lot smaller strands not as much stability I appreciate you all talking and commenting on here I'm up for all discussions but one thing I cannot understand about Matthews that everybody loves them so much I can't do that dump into the valley I mean that thing dropped so hard into the valley for me maybe it's the way I draw a bow I don't know I appreciate you
@azlongboard4855 Жыл бұрын
@@Gibsonlife573 You seem about 5'11"-6'. Your draw around 28 inches? I know for me being 31 inch draw on my matts the dump is VERY minimal. Still there but to me since i draw so close to my face i tend to have a very linear draw.
@WolfinWolvesClothing713 Жыл бұрын
Yep, most guys get them set up and hunt them. I have a press, so I can do what I want, but yea, most guys just get them set up and shoot them. 90% of tuning can be done by adjusting your rest etc... it has to be decently out of whack to need shims, and if your shop is worth anything they'll help you with it.

Talk about the block Target it is styrofoam that you get for home insulation cut down 4 ft wide 36 in tall and then wrapped with Saran Wrap I ended up putting those little foam Square 2 ft White a couple sections of them on the front and rewrapping and that helped a ton so if I was to do it again I would do a layer of the home insulation and then the foam little square things that you hook together and to stack it together like that

Well to me with draw stop set a half inch forward it feels alot smoother and I can also get my holding weight up there to help break clean shot feel the riser is more stable less shock in the hand I think that's from the flex cable guard cuz the PSE moves forward at a high rate you know and puts a little bit more vibration in the hand I think I'm going to do a comparison the Evo versus the BowTech 34 SS and send them both up with my hunting stuff the SS feels so good at 70 pounds that I thought about putting my long bars on it and shooting it for Target I also have a prime inline 5 that I'm going to do a video on

That is true everybody's got their own pic I'm not going to pick on that at all some people like different styles of draw different bows in Matthews is a very dead in hand mode but I just don't like to dump into the back wall and I don't like the fact that you can't nudge the drawing is everybody's different you can think that you're 28 and a half and really you're 28 so you got to buy another set of modules and you can't really play with the let off that much to get more open weight they're good both I'm not saying they're not I'm just seeing this bow right here is flat out amazing it's got them may draw cycle it's dead in the hand and it's pretty quick the most easiest bow on the market to tune and honestly it's this solid
