Great review. I just bought my brother a RevoltX and he is very pleased. He shot a total of 7 bows at the archery range/shop where we bought it and it was down to the Revolt, RevoltX, and Hoyt Axius. Hopefully, Bowtech is watching your channel and follows your recommendation regarding the moveable string stop. Thank you for making the effort to review bows for us.

I love my Revolt in Kryptic Highlander. You should pop off the clutch grip and shoot right off the riser its even nicer and thinner.

You mentioned the limbs maxing out at 67.5lbs. Is this with 60 or 70lb limbs?.. seems like an odd max out poundage... isn't it odd for the limbs to max that far from the 'claimed' poundage?.. thanks for the great content!

Purely a guess: 65 lbs has become a fairly popular option; perhaps it's a 65?

@@traindude3968 Revolt comes in 60 or 70 lbs. A well known string maker told me that Revolts aren't making weight, so he is making the cable 1/16" shorter now because of that.

How dare you say there's a bow quieter than the newest Mathews! I mean, that's just not possible right? I see so many people buying Mathews over other brands now days just for the claims and the name on the limbs. Good review, awesome bow

Sorry bud but yes there are fan boys buying for the name but there are people like me who never owned and said they wouldn't buy a Matthew's who bought a vxr just like I did because they are that good

@@omen2098 not saying they're not good bows. Just saying there's a lot of people that don't even try other brands and they make claims when they have no experience with the equipment they're going against. I shoot all manufacturers each year and i really believe if you blind folded someone and had them shoot any of the mathews lineup since the first halon, they're not going to tell a difference. I feel like they've basically put out the same bow for 5 years now and just made different length risers. Again, just my opinion. They all draw/ feel/ shoot the same

Is a 60 lb verses a 70 lb for hunting locally here in Texas for deer and hogs just as good ?

Shoot the poundage you are comfortable with. Better to shoot 60 pounds and not worry about your shoulders than struggle to shoot 70.

So is a 60 LB Bowtech Revolt sufficient for hunting ELK OR Black bears in your opinion

@@ArtSr46 I've never had a chance to hunt elk, but I cant' see why it wouldn't be. Today's 60-pound bows faster than 70+ pound bows were 20 years ago and archers had no trouble taking down elk back then. Black bears, too.

I’m not sure how underrated Bear is. They sell a lot of bows - especially in the mid-priced segment - I’d say more than most bow brands. I’ve only shot one Bear flagship (LS-6), but it was not a personal favorite.
