I personally don't get the Aventus comparison. This is very lemony and the fresh vetiver comes off a lot different to me than the birch/fruity combo in Aventus. It's a similar kind of fragrance, I suppose. This is the fragrance that made me love vetiver though, I will always appreciate it even though I get terrible performance with this one. This is definitely a mass pleaser.

I just got a sample bottle of Elysium Cologne. I get the same! Projection is questionnable and not as much as i thought before buying. But i can still smell it somewhat after 5 hours.

I know what you mean about the projection, it stays really close to the skin for me unfortunately but lasts on my skin for ages. Wish this projected like a beast lol

Good review. This smelled better on the testing strip than on my skin. Good opening, but the dry down was underwhelming (especially for that high price point).

This is one of the nicest openings of a fresh scent I've ever tried, I got this for a steal, less than half the price but Europe is a lot cheaper than American. Stellar review as always

@@rhoodj not really. Dus asks niche prices aswell. 60 bucks sometimes 70 for 30ml?that means they ask around 240 bucks for 100ml. Thats almost as much as the original..

I would like to purchase this but it being so close to Aventus in smell & lacking on the projection side, I might hold off considering I have to 2 bottles of Aventus, a bottle of Zion by Alexandria fragrance, Supernova by Dua, & that wonderful fragrance by Nishane=Hacivat which is the best of them all.

for me elysium has beast mode projection, it fills out the room and almost the whole house when i barely apply it. The bad thing is that the projection doesn’t last more than 2 hr 😢

I got the parfum version I tried the cologne version I like the smell of the cologne better but the parfum last like forever when I first started experiencing niche I tried roja didn't like it at first now 2 years later I love roja I get it now I tried a lot of fragrances he's the king haute luxe kingdom of Saudi Arabia great Britain I don't think he have a bad fragrance I've smelled fragrances from every fragrance House but his will have you feeling like royalty wearing his fragrances I use to think his fragrances was over priced myself now I disagree his fragrances are so complex so multifaceted so good I tried fragrances from him that took me months to fully appreciate I tried 800 hundred Dollar fragrances and 1500 hundred dollar fragrances I've even smell aged sandalwood and ouds that are very expensive and roja beats them all easily now I'm gonna explore areej line and fragrance du bois line and bortnikoff and maybe my opinion might change but I doubt it see its one thing to have couple of good fragrances but to have so many plush luxurious smelling fragrances is mind blowing I wear creed to the gym or work but when I'm out and about I wear roja

@@shanqayyum I have this Parfum Calogne and also have sampled supernova. Supernova is pleasant to the typical nose, but it definitely doesn’t have the magic throughout that is present in this Roja.

How do you feel about this vs PDM Sedley, I really loved my sample of Sedley when I purchased Layton, I have not smelled Elysium but I feel like from the note breakdown that this or Sedley will likely be my fragrance purchase for Summer 2022. Thanks!

@@ShattiUnique true..which is why I prefer PM...I dislike sweet/thicker scents in high summer heat, and most of mfk's fresh scents tend to have an underlying sweetness to them..I like petit matin for high heat because its basically just a soft, pleasant citrus & woods scent

First of all this is very citrusy plus vetiverish! Secondly the smell doesn’t last for more than a couple of hrs. Lastly it is pure hype, I brought it after hearing so many good things about it and feels terre d’hermes is still better lasting then this.
