Perseus is excellent! It even has a calming effect on me on the drydown. And it’s honestly a compliment getter. My wife loves it (my toughest critic) and every time I wear it while on the course, fellow golfers inquire about what it is and how they can get it.

The price for it in the US is crazy, over here in Germany a 75ml bottle goes retail for 200€ tax included which is 217,06 USD and the 125ml bottle goes for 260€ which is 282,18 USD. I got it when it was released and had it sitting on the shelf for some time since the temperature went back down to around 10 degrees celsius and so I wasn't in the mood for it. But when I went to Greece on the 11th of May it was one the fragrances which got probably used the most. It just feels amazing in the heat. It's definitly not the most intresting or complex fragrance but it's a pretty well done one and and smells great.

I've tested a couple of their fragrances. Layton, and Carlisle. I bought Galloway, and I love this fragrance. I didn't connect with the other two, even though they seem to be more popular.

I love perseus so dam good. Worth every penny. Hell every fragrance is high these days shit. I love the opening and the drydown so dam good. It is different than roja elysium,terre d'hermes. I can see where people are coming from but they are different. I got it when it came out. Trust me I love the opening but that drydown dam perseus so good

It stands on its own. I done tested it against all of what people say it smells like and I get the citrus and grapefruit part but it is different and well done by pdm

I tried it at Nordstoms in Orlando and it was just too fruity but I didn't try on skin as I was wearing something else. I'm still not into this kind of scent. I'd rather stick with Althair. I agree, It is not a $300+ frag. Great review and I appreciate your candor! Peace!

That Grapefruit is LOUD throughout. It's very dominant. Almost a linear fragrance.

It smells refined and authentic. Just picked up a small bottle last week. I still haven't opened the box! I'll enjoy wearing it in the coming days now that the temperatures are rising. But it's definitely not a "love" for me.

I got a sample and have yet to wear it. I have an excellent relationship with my sales reps. at Bloomingdales, Neiman Marcus, and Nordstroms & Macys so when ever something comes out I get a sample automatically upon request. I buy a lot full price retail, but I do go to discounters as well. This one I will wait for more of a $180 to $200 mark.

250 bucks are my drop dry down nose line. What ever comes above, can gently fly down the stream. Then I shower myself better happy and in the Ligea La Sirena - Carthusia League.

I'm definitely glad I purchased a 10ml decant. I would not drop full price or close to it tbh. It's not even worth $175 (that's steep, too) for what it is. If you can find it cheap, grab some or a couple of decants if you're desperate.

I tried Perseus at Bloomingdales last weekend (both on paper and on skin). While I did like it and think it smells nice, it's not a must have for me as it didn't wow me. It's a solid fragrance but it's one of those ones that I would wear if it was gifted to me but probably wouldn't purchase. I tried Greenley that same day and was way more into that one. Just my opinion.

People need to just get the 50 ml size. A HALF SIZE FROM parfum de marly. Don't get the full size. BESIDES FOR COLLECTOR'S, YOU DONT NEED a bunch of full bottles. THIS fragrance is cool for a citrus. BUT it's not o e of the best. IT SHOULD be in the $200 dollar range.

This was a low quality release. The grapefruit note is low rent, even Light Blue Forever has a much more authentic smelling grapefruit note. Not sure what aromachemical they're using for vetiver but it's not quality. Poor release.
