I would like to thank you for posting this video. My husband and I attended almost every doowop and oldies concert that came to South Florida from the 90's until a couple of years ago. Due to the pandemic and several health issues, we have not been able to attend any concerts during the last few years. It is so nice of you and other people who post these shows, so that other doowop and oldies lovers like myself can enjoy them. I watched this entire video last night and enjoyed it so much. The quality was great, the artists were all wonderful and I just wanted to let you know how much I appreciate your taking the time to post these awesome shows.

I also worked with Bowser and his Thunderbirds in 1989 or 1990 at Six Flags in Jackson, NJ and a job in Long Island at a private party. Jay and The tokens were at Six Flags with my group. Their was only two original Duprees in the group at that time. Mike Arnone and myself Tom Bialoglow. Billy was with Jay back then but he has since passed.

In the mid 1980s the partnership between Blandon and Still ended, with each forming their own version of The Dubs. Still's group included lead Leslie Anderson, Bernard Jones, John "Spider" Truesdale and Steve Brown. This group, minus Brown, still performs. (From wikipedia) en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Dubs

Come on Bowzer, I know you can find better performers than these !! I re-tract this comment to say that this is actually an incredible show !! I was feeling sorry for myself when I posted my comment. I can't perform no more and was feeling sorry for myself. I apologize !!!
@tombialoglow549 Жыл бұрын
I think that the performers on this show did a great job. I don't know if you are a performer but you have to have a great ego to get up in front of an audience. And you have to have the goods and deliver them to an audience. I happen to know Frank Pizzaro and he has a great voice. I also worked with Chris Montez for two weeks at the Apollo and Howard theaters in 1962. I also did a show with Johnny Contardo in Port jefferson, Long Island a few years ago. So I've been around the block and i know talent when I hear it. Tom Bialoglow founding member of The "Original Duprees.
