How thick did the rear deck end up being 1/2 or 1 inch? And how did you get a accurate template for the rear deck? Thanks and i love the narration.

Rear deck consisted of (1) 1/2” and (1) 3/4” piece of mdf. In order to get the rear deck accurately, I used a piece of cardboard as a template. And transferred it onto the mdf pieces.

This build was unfinished. We got it playing for a local show and he was supposed to come back to have me finish it. Won some trophies and he was hooked 😂 We were going to add beauty panels and lights. So you could see the subs and port from the inside, when you lowered the armrest.

@@210Designs man, what a beauty of an enclosure and that rear deck for those 6 1/2 is just sick. You should really take pride in making these enclosures because they are works of art if you dont mind me saying. I have a 15 zvx that I need a enclosure for. It's in a chevy lumina so my trunk height opening isn't that tall, 18 inches of clearance is what I have to work with.

Every now and then. The main reason I don’t, is because of box fitment and the ability to test the subs in the enclosure before the customer picks it up. That way I can guarantee box performance and fitment in the vehicle 👌🏾

Chrisnas1 - Thats a loaded question bro. It’s gonna be based on several factors. Type of sub, size of sub, power available, vehicle, electrical, etc. Here’s the thing, I love sealed and ported boxes. Each sound and perform great if using the right sub, box specs, power and vehicle that it’s in. *Ported boxes are more efficient, if tuned/built correctly and will give you more output on less power. I tune most of my ported boxes around 32-36hz. Plays all types of genres of music very well. Customer plays country to rap and everything in between 👌🏾
