In 2025 my goal for this channel is to become Monetized. You can help me achieve this goal by first Subscribing and secondly by watching every possible moment of my video. Currently I'm about 1500 hours short of this goal but if you as a viewer, will watch the entire video the added time watched will propel me to my goal much faster. I thank you for taking time out of your day and spending it here on my channel. God Bless

I would buy this since I don’t have the tools nor workshop to do all this.

Hello great video on how to make a box fan stand. May I ask, what size pine wood did you get? Thx

Thank you.

Very nice. And the workshop enthusiast doesn't need many fancy tools.

About them coming with already punched in square holes on the side, you're thinking of the older versions from the late 90's and the ones that predates 2006. Although the Air King version still seems to have the holes already punched in. Also cool project!

Hi Bobby! Nice build; I knew right away I'd like this video, as I have the exact same miter saw! :) I have the exact same fan as well, But, I shall opt for 2x4's as they are cheap again! Thanks for sharing! A+++ (PS... I subscribed, after I watched another one of your excellent videos!)

@@bobbysharp You're welcome! I just got two of these fans, and will build a "low-boy" stand, so that I can tilt it up from a few inches off the floor, and then the taller version as you describe.

That's amazing. Just curious, do you sell these? If so, I would be interested in buying two of them.

Sorry but I don't sell these. I'll have an update video out this week describing measurements and hardware.

What are the measurements and what wood did you use?

Select pine from the box store. All the lumber is 1 1/2" wide x 3/4" thick. The legs are 24", vertical sides are 30", but you can customize those. The cross braces are just wider than the fan housing, 20 plus inches or so. Thanks for watching.

So this is "watch" me make a stand instead of "how" to make a stand. Got it.

First I've never claimed this channel to be a "How To" channel. But if you would like to build this stand for yourself I have copied a comment reply that contains the materials and dimensions below. Select pine from the box store. All the lumber is 1 1/2" wide x 3/4" thick. The legs(2) are 24" with a 45 deg cut on each end, vertical sides(2) are 30", but you can customize those. What I mean by customize is that if you make them longer(taller) the fan will be higher off the floor. But they have to be a minimum length to accommodate the fan. The cross braces(2) are just wider than the fan housing, 20 plus inches or so for my fan. Measure your fan to ensure a proper fit. I believe this is discussed in the video. I have not watched this video in quite some time. A "How To" video is no different than simply "Watching" a video. I asked my friend to watch this video and then asked if given the dimensions for this project if he could build this project by the limited guidance offered in it. His reply was "Yes, it's pretty straight forward." Not to mention there is probably 10 different ways to build any project and finish with the same result. And lastly they say a picture is worth a thousand words, a video is nothing more than moving pictures. So in a 15 min video how many words could that possibly replace? Again thanks for watching, I hope with the short explanation above you can build one of these stands for yourself. Good luck with your future projects.

Amazon has a box fan stand and they are very proud of it (over $52)
