all good, but better to use a camera not a null to set orientation for all objects (camera angle). especially when other objects are added to the scene, or you wanted different camera angles or animated cameras.

Awesome tutorial! How do you solve overlapping shapes? The edges aren't seamless for me. It even more apparent when you use a longer focal length.

I don't see why parenting is used. I thought parenting was used to make one thing be lead by another, I don't see that here.The sides appear to be moving independently. I must be missing something. Or are you doing this so everything will follow the first rectangle and the first rectangle follows the null? It would be a lot less confusing if you named the sides by the color instead of just the numbers. Thanks.

The stroke part is a copy of all the layers with the animation, then removing the fill and adding a thickness to the stroke of each copied object.
