George Benson - Give me the night. I love that album!

The Human League albums are great. Love And Dancing was a 'Mini album' of course with remixes. Actually the one in there I really like is Fabrique by Fashion. Early copies have a 'Win an Olympus Camera' sticker on the front. That's an incredible record. Play 'Move On' VERY loud!

The knack! And that bow wow wow record is a lot of fun. Not terribly rare, but at least you can listen to them! ... this video is 4 years old. Why is it being recommended now? And why am I looking for other vinyl unboxing videos?

I miss having a box like that to house them in. I used to have that type in my djing days...

Mick Jackson wrote Blame it on the boogie which the Jackson’s recorded, at the time many thought including myself It was written by the Jackson family but in fact written by mick Jackson an English gent now living in Germany. Mick had a minor hit with a track called weekend which I still love, which is on the album you showed.

Looks like some mice got into that box of records. Andrew Gold is the son of Marnie Nixon, the woman who's singing was dubbed in for Natalie Wood in West Side Story.

Did you do a video for the singles boxes? The Queen Jazz LP should have the 'Nude Bicycle Race' poster in it and Queen The Miracle should have a photo with printed signatures on it, if you still have these records.

As someone who owned a record store when many of these were current I can say with some certainty that both boxes were owned by a teenage girl. Where's Who, Zeppelin, any post Beatles stuff, Stones even? If it were an American boy in the early 80s he'd have at least two by the Cars in his lot, also Def Leppard, Ozzy, Whitesnake and all that other noise I never liked or understood. And sorry to burst your bubble but a lot of this stuff isn't worth much even 35 years later. Maybe the laser-etched Styx is, but be forewarned: that image on the vinyl causes major surface crackle. PS--you never heard of Earth, Wind and Fire? Geez. But to be fair, the gal that appeared early on your first video who was represented by three LPs, I've never heard of either. UK vs. US I suppose. And Boz Scaggs? Way too common over here.
@anthonymiles58135 жыл бұрын
Yep. It's a typical collection of someone who was into records in their teens, then lost interest. Most record collections are probably like that.

How someone hiding behind an alias can question anyone's mental capacity is A HOOT.
@agfagaevart5 жыл бұрын
things are different in the UK. in the US you can easily pick up mint copies of R&B records like Boz Scaggs for cents, but in the UK you gots to pay good cash for them. that's why old soul and R&B come over to Europe and do gigs - coz they know Brits still appreciate them. meanwhile in the US they love people like Iggy Azelia!! WTF is going on?
@AnnieVanAuken5 жыл бұрын
Never heard of that guy, Azelia. Iggy Pop, iggy StardustZ :?D Yah, I guess I was thinking in terms of US thrift shops and flea markets. Ah, just gimme 78s and I'm happy! (my channel)
