fun fact : in the japanese battle spirits, green used to be the weakest color until last year. It hits it's growth spurt and now has one of the strongest deck

I really want to try this game. The rules make it easy to jump into, the art is cool and the lore is interesting.(that CG trailer was amazing.) Im really vibing with the Purple/White cards. Apparently it flopped in the west before, so I hope it does significantly better.

Yeah, it definitely looks like Bandai put way more of an investment in the competitive side of the game this time round, I just hope they continue to nurture the local/casual side of the game too. Not everyone wants to go big at the tournaments & that's okay! Game is a lot of fun, would recommend :)

I didn’t think they would put Gundam themed cards in the Dawn of History packs. I bought the Gundam themed expansion pack and the box. Apparently several years ago they released a Godzilla themed series as well. I’m 32 years old. I haven’t touched a card game since middle school. But Godzilla and Gundam collabs are solid bets to get my money. I like this game. I may never play it, but I think it’ll be fun collecting them. It’ll be nice just to collect cards again honestly.

There is an upcoming new godzilla themed pack in the japanese side of the game coming next month, so I speculate saga will also get a new godzilla themed booster in the near future.

It's definitely a fun set to collect! Opening the packs was big serotonin, if i wasn't chasing cards to play I'd definitely have been far more content with my pulls, you know? haha

@@RenjiPls ​ 3 boxes and the green Starter, Hoping for some spicy SPR's - Queen Antraine, Dark Knight Lamorak and reanimate would be top picks, wouldn't be too sad to pull a gundamn card either! I should probably just buy singles but opening packs is too much fun. Yeah ,this and the My hero academia card game are too of my favourite games right now, both really well designed mechanically, more affordable than some of the other TCG's and with great passionate communities surrounding them.

art is super nice, also a huge range cause they're pulling from a something like 50+ sets of the Japanese game the later Battle Spirits sets in japan go HARD - worth watching if you'd like!

The Ratios are downright awful. They sould always have an SPR (at least 1) in each box. This is why these boxes (even if they chance at a Gundam) have gone down so low in price. I truly hope they do not have this same issue with Set 3...I know set 4 has been addressed, but please set 3 lets have those SPRs

Why are the prices ridiculously low now? Saga started strong. But on TCG player boosters are now 50$

Honestly? I think a lot of people think the game is dying since there's not the same level of hype from Set 1's release. Online community still seems super strong & there's not as many chase cards (Ice Shield for one) so the set was never gonna be as hot. It's balanced out & I think it's gonna take it's place next to a lot of other bandai games

i think it's hard to say right now the rarity has definitely increased which will make it a more sought after card for sure but I don't think there's as much hype for set 2 as there was in set 1, so with far fewer people interested in buying & far fewer boxes being opened (launch events etc) I think it'll be a community set price for a while if people are happy to buy or sell for 50 or all the way to 300 I think it can fluctuate excited to see (i kinda want it hahahaha)

I stopped the orig jp BS when they made a Ruffy/Luffy type of pirate sit on the head of some King Ghidora. They seem to go way back with putting super old stuff into BSS. Why not starting at BS25 or BS40...

They're building their own lore in the western game, so I think it's kinda cool to see lots of different eras of art being used. Some of the recent JP art is stunning though, wouldn't mind seeing that in the EN game soon! haha

don't think the game is dying but it's definitely levelling out a lot more - there's a lot of good competition in comp tcgs right now too, not to mention Lorcana is almost here. I think once they double down on the actual Saga Lore & release some more sets we'll be in a better place. Excited for the future!
