This video has been out for 7 months. I do hope your understanding of the Hours of Service has grown a lot since then. You would do well to preface that portion with the disclaimer that you really didn’t understand the HOS at the time, or remove it from the video altogether. Some parts were ok, but your understanding was skewed and needed much improvement. You would do well to visit the truckstops in Carlisle. Browse the stores for an FMCSA Handbook and also a CSA-2010 Handbook, plus anything else informational you happen to find. The FMCSA Handbook is the trucker’s Bible or 10 Commandments. The CSA Handbook is a great interpreter of the FMCSA Handbook. It’ll be easy to read and understand.

New subscriber here, What kind of bank institution in your opinion is the best to open a commercial account and to get a loan I hear people saying credit unions it’s better than a typical bank but I want to hear your opinion since I’m about to start a trucking business and I want to choose the right one.

You should find 1 good local bank and 1 good local credit union. Contact each and get in touch with a loan officer. Tell them you already have a loan offer from another bank for 4% interest but you’re trying to find better rates.
