Cool old Chevy. I've worked on many of those - kind of have just about every bolt size on them memorized. They were good trucks. Driving one in the winter was not so great - the heater is a joke, (you'd almost look like Jack Nicholson at the end of The Shining), but they were a pretty reliable truck.

Much easier taking those tires and wheels off compared to the semi wheels a lot less weight lol Looks like it was made to carry some weight Another great job, and I thank you for the video

You must be in the south or west in the northern states you would cut out all the bolts.

This must be in Arizona or Los Vegas .... here in the Midwest salt and snow belt you would be hammering, cutting, sawing and drilling to get that out.

Why would he cut off the U-Bolts that hold the springs with a torch? Is there any danger to release the U-Bolts by loosen the nuts underneath?

Those fine thread u-bolts almost never loosen without a lot of effort and heat. Much faster to cut them off. Plus re-using them is not recommended.
