I am all by myself and I bought a 2006 Chevy Express..panel van with no windows, except on side doors and back end. The milage was 350,000 but I knew the people who had it and towed it behind their motor home and only had 50,000 actual driving. I already had a 1996 Econoliner 350 box truck with 119,000 miles on it. Box is 14 foot long and about 7.5 ft wide. Got them both for about $4,000. I have spent about $12,000 for repairs, tires, Maxx Air fan and storage solutions. Keep doing videos, I've got to start with insulation, studs and build a back wall for a door and window. I only want the same electrical system you have. No solar, KISS (Keep it simple stupid). Got propane stove and fridge, so I guess propane lines will be next and plumbing down the road. I am learning from you going slow and simple. Keep them coming. And Thanks.

The best commute! Walking across the parking lot 😅 almost as good as my telework commute to my desk 🙂 keep busy and figuring out things...i can relate to not having a companion or pet, it's quite boring but cooking and watching chef shows help! I've become a masterchef just watching them! 👀 I'm in Tampa and did camping a few times at turtle Beach and Fort Desoto. I love Naples for shopping 🛍 I have yet a few years until retirement but I'm aiming for nomad life when I do! And yes, florida rains are torrential and very frequent but brief 🤗 you're so funny...looking forward to your next adventure 😀

Hey...great intro ;) ...and even though you felt you were rambling... really you were just sharing the reality. Congrats on your maiden voyage!! I know after I retired early ..the first 6-12 months I was constantly evaluating. I didn't realize how much of my identity and purpose was in the "doing of things", the adjustment is a step of personal growth.. One thing that helped me was creating a daily & weekly schedule (ofcourse there's always flexibility when you're on the road) but all the tasks became more my purpose... washing vehicle, checking fluids etc, writing family postcards, exercise, doing something creative.. You'll get the hang of it and as you travel you'll meet great people...like the guy that helped you with solar..what an awesome blessing!! Enjoyed your cooking pics too..although now I'm hungry lol...till next time....be well

Psst...adding cranberry and almonds and pineapple and a wee bit of pineapple juice inside chicken salad and stuffed in a pita bread makes a mean Maui Chicken pita. Used to be my favorite lunch item on Bennigins menu when they were in existence. Lol.

I agree. The desert and wilderness are way overrated . I rather see the beaches, bit*hes, babes, bikinis. Plus u cant tinker with sh*t in the desert. There are no Home Depot's
