But some functioned in the same role and playstyle that, in a real scenario, will cause a problem for the whole team. Take a look at England, for instance. They have some of the best players of the world yet they couldn't do much because many of them played the same role and couldn't decide what each should do, i.e., Bellingham, Foden, Mainoo, Saka, and sometimes even Kane who apparently likes to play in the middle.

Look at Millie's team: Xavi, Wirtz, Güler, all function the same way and decisive confirmation of who does what comes into play. Rodri and Kante were the best DM of the Tournament yet function the same way not at all balancing the team within any favor. The partnership of Saliba and Rüdiger is not good for both are similar players that require someone more agile as their partner. With Ferms, Musiala, Yamal, Pedri, Ruiz, and Theo are all players who prefer to attack. An old defender with Pepe will not work. Akanji may cover the ideal, but it's not near of what it is needed. VarVar's team, however, covers everything correctly in a system. Laporte and Calafiori, they provide a balance defense system of experience and agility. The fullbacks are great in both attacking and defending. Xhaka, Olmo, and KDB in the midfield covers defense, attack, experience, youth, and talent. The attack with Gakpo, Mikautadze, and Williams is reliable for it involves quick players who know the sniff of goal.

Schranz and Lobotka went really underrated. I will definitely say kdb is one of the best if not the best midfielder currently at club level.
