What to do if the speedo /tach on my r90 isn’t working anymore? Fix or restore by ? Or go digital dash?

Well, that all depends on how much you want to keep the " period " of the bike . Restore if you want to keep it original ..... go digital if that's not important. The digital will work better as well.
