Actually, the origin of Boxing Day comes from the fact that of the wealthy got the day after Christmas off to be with their families, and were given gifts in small boxes of presents and food . Another theory is that the day after Christmas, the churches would open their alms boxes and give the money to the poor. But I like the idea of another shopping day better! Glad you had so much fun with your family!

Omgish...what fun was had at your parent's house. It was loud and chaotic like Christmas should be. I love that Aunt Kimber and Lulu had matching outfit...LOL. Both you and Winnie look like you need to get some rest. I know you said you felt better, but I could see you are still exhausted and you don't want to get sick . This was an incredible Christmas for the O'Blenis family. I have a feeling you will be taking Cooper shopping. What a great Boxing Day you had! We used to travel to the mother in laws on boxing day, but she passed away a few years ago. I have no parents left and neither does my husband. But we have a nice cozy little Christmas at home with our 2 kids and the 2 dogs. I'll live vicariously through you and your family! Lol!! It was pretty noisy though, wasn't it?! Ha ha!! Merry Christmas….. you were lucky you had your family together"….. my family only stayed at home and nobody got together cause our numbers are very high. Plus some members are Doctors and ICU nurses treating COVID patients so we stayed away….. hopefully next year it will be different.
