I hope people recognize the power in Roy's statement, "I Have a Natural High." This was key to his success, he, like Mayweather and Bernard Hopkins also, never abused his body. By the time he lost, his legacy was already intact. Roy should be back with some network like Showtime, he is, in my opinion, also one of the greatest boxing commentators.

This was the most truthful and accurate interview of boxing history. Abel Sanchez ruined ggg career, by ducking top competition. Should have fought Ward, Andrade, and Jermall Charlo. Eddie Hearn had Joshua duck Wilder, and Fury. Floyd ducked Pacman. Andre Ward had the most stellar career, but overshadowed by Floyd’s money accolades. Crawford fought nobodies until Spence. All facts(.) Glad someone finally said it.

Roy Jones Jr. is an established man of the sport. If he wants to give someone advice, he can call them on the phone or visit their camp. When you are a man of the sport, and you talk to third parties or other KZbin channels you won't seem genuine. Anyone can see that unless their ego is too big. Besides all of that, just learn from every experience and be a better example for the next generation, period!

Not a boxer, but I feel that hight, build, and age are far more important factors than weight. If a man is built better and better equipped physically but shorter, he can severely damage a man much taller. If there's at least a 15 to 20 pound difference. Let's get it!!

Roy is one of my favorite. He left out some key points about Floyd and Manny. The wrong picture gets painted. Floyd tried to fight Manny before he fought Victor Ortiz. Pacquiao wanted more time to take the drug test. What clean person needs more time to take a drug test...? Then, they say he was out of his prime when they fought. Not mentioning Floyd is the older fighter. So, Floyd should have been out of his prime
@CHRISTIANNWO Жыл бұрын
It wasn't just about Pacquiao, Floyd always somehow avoided the top prime fighters of his time: Williams, Martinez, Lara, Margarito, Clottey, Bradley; he faced opponents who were not in their prime Berto, Cotto, Mosley. If it was just Pacquiao, you could make an argument, but with so many cherry picked fights, there is no argument.
@RANInkTV Жыл бұрын
@@CHRISTIANNWO You're leaving out he asked for Mosley when he went by Pretty Boy Floyd. You can only fight one person at a time and everybody he fought was marketed to knock him out. He did fight top fighters in their prime. Some guys were not, but don't neglect all the ones that were. Skill wise, the only person I feel had no business being in the ring with him was Robert Guerrero and people even said he would KO floyd.
@CHRISTIANNWO Жыл бұрын
@@RANInkTV Mosley said he was willing to stay at 135 to fight Floyd (1999), but Floyd wanted to stay at 130. So, Mosley moved up to 147. Floyd wouldn't move up to 135 until 2002, when he faced Jose Luis Castillo, which was the toughest match of Floyd's career. The prime fighters I can think of Floyd fighting are: Maidana, Guerrero, Ortiz (looked like a fixed fight), Hatton (at a catchweight), Corely, Castillo, Corrales. These were good fighters, but they weren't the best.
@RANInkTV Жыл бұрын
@@CHRISTIANNWO There was Manfredy and Baldomir is another one that was suppose to destroy Floyd, Judah, Canelo. Genaro Hernandez and Reggie Sanders gave him a tough matches. I watched the first Castillo first bout a few times. I don't think it was as close as the hype makes it out to be. Do you remember how many KO's Ndou had going into their match?
