I can't recall Tony on the door of Society, but I recall his Dad Tony Sr. He was one of the nicest people you would meet, really down to earth Gent. I also bumped into him about 12 years ago in the Grapes, started a conversation with him randomly about the old times and he was great. Always a fair person, never a bully.

I like Tony Bellew but listen Ant Middleton has been trained many many years in military Close Quarter Combat. Its immediate groin kicks, eye gouges, bites, knees to groin, throat strikes and knee stamps. Ground fighting training is a massive part and dirty clinch work. Bellew is a great boxer and I reckon can have a scrap on the street but Squadron lads fight a different game.
@kingjames11014 жыл бұрын
Very weird none of these killing machines you describe go and dominate ufc isn’t it? Living in a fantasy land Bellew would smash his jaw clean off
@stevenrichardson98804 жыл бұрын
You really are about as stupid as people get aren't you? I have just explained that boxers and special forces guys are trained in two COMPLETELY different processes, one for rules/competition fighting and the other (SF guys) for real life no rules fighting and you then come out with a comment about them (SF guys) not competing in UFC (a rules based system) and dominating. That would be like asking a great white shark to fight out of the water. You just don't get it do you? This shows how little you understand about combat. The rules of sport fighting make the psychological impact factors completely different to a street attack or military hand to hand engagement. You get a few months to prepare for a competition fight with protective gear, referee, paramedics all there to keep safety margins tight. In the street or in warfare there is none of that, and you might get 3 seconds to prep for attack so the psychology is different as is the rules set and fight dynamic. Clinching in UFC is about looking for a takedown or throw or knee, in street or combat you bite the guys nose off, or gouge his eye out then retreat within seconds. You are uneducated, unrealistic and lack basic understanding of different combat principles. I can no longer engage any of my energy with you unless you can come back with something even slightly intelligent to say in response, which I find highly doubtful.
