Team IBOX2 at the infamous Papatoetoe Boxing Club led by the legendary coach Grant Arkell. So many champions have trained at the club, all the photos on the wall tell a story of the champions gone before but still feel the energy in the gym. Love that you are into boxing! That has been my favorite sport since I was under 10 years old! My mom almost had a stroke when my dad let me enter into the golden gloves competition as a Flyweight back in the day! LOL Have not boxed for many, many years...but as an old man now, I still enjoy watching matches on TV, in Person, or best yet...practice at the Gym! Fa'afetai lava for sharing! Nice bit of trivia....years ago I shook hands and got "patted on the head" by Muhammad Ali when he lived with his wife in Michigan. Of course, he was far gone with his Parkinson's disease, but he could still walk up to the gate, and his eyes showed that spark that made everyone fall in love with him so many years ago.

@@VelaStudio68 Yes, I have always been a huge fan of his...After he passed away I had a chance to travel to Louisville, Kentucky and stay at a place called the; "Brown Hotel". And on the top floor, I was able to stay in the M. Ali suite..it was a special moment. I also collect boxing books and memorabilia, it has been a hobby of mine since the mid 1970's! I was never very powerful as a boxer, but my speed won me many matches as a flyweight. Now that I am an old man, they would need to create a new weight class, called the; "Fat old man" weight class if I ever wanted to box again! LOL Much love Uso!
