Dominic is right, very similar in the photography world , the client that is fixated on cheap fees will be hard work long term , and often hard to get payment from, better to have everything upfront and I always had payment upfront also when you can, if a client is funny about payment you don’t want to was even one minute after the enquiry, it’s not about money but respect and self worth .

Is there a common wage for trainers...Can the 5,000 + boxers confirm any trainer payment number?! For example, it appears there was a disparity between Dj/Spence fighter-trainer pay and what was PAID from AJ and Ryan. Can we get some clarity.
@JCRule696 ай бұрын
From 12:30 where explained and lists what a trainer should be doing for the 10% fee, that made sense. But some set up are different. Some fighter have different strength and conditioning, plus diet, and weight loss personnel. So in some cases a trainer can expect less than 10%, but in Dom’s case he probably deserves the full amount, since he can do all jobs. I do believe you should be able to agree a scale. The trainer gets ten percent up to a certain purse and then a flat fee, after a certain amount, if fighter and trainer can agree upfront. There has to be a limit. Some purse are very high and a trainer should be happy to limit his top price at £2M for one camp, or else it could run away with itself.

It’s a such a delight listening to Dom, could listen to this guy all day long so much knowledge, BKM some very good questions too credit where due, totally agree with Dom, trainers should get the 10% it’s a dying trade now, I’ve watched countless documentaries when Naz had his issues with Brendan, Naz definitely got too big for his boots and forgot his roots, Brendan was a top tier bloke who welcomed everyone may his soul rest in peace with all his duties that he full-filled in the boxing community, the difference between Dom to his father is Dom knows when and where to invest his time with the correct people where as Brendan did it because it was his passion, I hope Dom reads this comment, and I really hope Naz confesses his mistakes, because let’s face it he lost against Barrera because Brendan wasn’t in his corner and some curses do actually hit home when your stubborn just like Naz, ohh and Naz could benefit from Dom’s special diet plans lol from super feather to super Heavyweight, by the way I became a boxing fan from watching Naz, loved his style and persona but it soon catches up, his legacy is wrote alhamdulillah!

He’s so, so bitter a the young trainers who come up alone. He was handed daddy’s gym and run I into the ground. Poor Brendan. Was a trail blazer. Look at his interview on Nazs lad. He knew he was fooled as a trainer 2 /3 years ago. So wrote Eddie a love song… cringe, was a song writer , cook, diet expert/coach and boxing trainer of the decade. All have pailed into. Fact. Eddie didn’t suck him off for his tune and cook book…👎. No fighters fact so just now slags all successful young trainers who have carried their own niche. Dept did jaw lines!!!
