Great man, a good man, a god loving man, a man who fought for his country and loves his country, he lost his father, he had huge pressure on him going into the fury fight as he wanted to win for himself but also his team his late father and his country to give them a lift in mood because of the war in Ukraine. A true warrior. He beat my fellow countryman fairly last night. Close fight but I thought Usyk won by 3 round maybe 4 but either way the right man won. Impossible not to like this guy. The first time I heard of him was from a Junior Fa interview years ago talking about their fight in the World Series of Boxing. Same tournament where he beat Joe Joyce. I did think he looked arrogant back then, but the more I watched him the more I realized that wasn't the case. Then of course he became my favourite fighter. People like Ali, Mayweather, Leonard, Holmes, Lennox Lewis, just to name a few, these guys had monumental egos and were arrogant to the point of delusion, which you have to be, in order to succeed at the highest levels.

Went for amateur career, won European Championship 🥇 in 2008, then World Championship 🥇 in 2011, followed by Olympic Games 🥇 in 2012. Then in his professional career, Undisputed in CW and then Undisputed in HW. He has absolutely nothing left to achieve anymore.
