I doubt Opetaia left because Fury got dropped, not because it's impossible that he dropped him (i made a video a long time ago saying that would he a great fight, way before Opetaia was getting the respect he is now). But the reason i doubt that is why he left camp, is because if they were concerned that ye is too young, too sharp and is damaging Fury, then they'd have stopped hard spars & kept him in for technical sparring. Opetaia can emulate Usyk's foot and hand feints, and there would have been a lot to gain from working on timing his entry point. Sparring doesn't have to be hard at all, it can be like a game of tag. So I believe he left to prep for his own fight. The question is, should Tyson have invested to bring Jai sparring partners over? Not as a favour of course, but to have Jai there are a preparation tool for himself

Exactly what I said to my brother, he should of tried getting him the best sparing possible and kept him in and let him have his camp in Dubai it would of been a win win for both, jai has to re adjust to the time zones twice now wich is not ideal prep for hin neither.

Obviously none of us know what's happened or why he's gone back, but I don't believe the reason they gave, unless Jais team are complete morons, there's no way they didn't consider that a man preparing for the best southpaw out there, didn't have any orthodox sparring available for him, like I say, I don't know what's happened, I just think the excuse sounds fishy. I doubt Jai is the type to take it easy in sparring either, he looks incredibly intense

go on joe! Been one of my favourite heavyweights for some time now. This zhang fight is definitely a tough fight, i think andy lee and parker are planning to get on their toes and box for the first half and then turn up the pressure in the second half, that’s the best gameplan. However, other than Zhangs lack of stamina, he’s an elite fighter and will be extremely dangerous for the first half. Not sure who’ll win this one, i like em both so may the best man win.
