Just because Jacobs stayed in the fight doesn't mean he won. GGG is the obvious winner for that KNOCKDOWN and staying in the fight.

Jacobs is one of those fighters that looks good. GGG is one of those fighters that does not look good. But looking good doesn't win fights. He couldn't hurt GGG. But GGG was stinging him throughout the fight. Just because he didn't put him away, doesn't mean he lost. After the knockdown Jacobs stayed clear. His gear changed, and GGG stayed in gear. Yes the people who think Jacobs won are just wanting him to win. But GGG won.

Video clips are a bit biased in favor of Jacobs. I watched the whole thing. 114-113 for GGG. The last half of the fight belonged to Jacobs 4 rounds to 2. Overall GGG did just enough to win. If it went 15 rounds based on the trend, Jacobs would get at least a draw, probably the victory. How I scored it each round. I break it up into minutes, 1st 2nd and 3rd minute winner to avoid ties, but I think there was two ties anyway. The tie goes to the winner of the previous round. 1 GGG 10-9 2 Tie to GGG 20-18 3 Jacobs 29-28 4 All triple GGG including knock down 39-36 5 GGG 49-45 6 Jacobs 58-55 7 Jacobs 67-65 8 Tie to Jacobs 76-75 9 GGG 86-84 10 Jacobs 95-94 11 Jacobs 104-104 12 GGG 114-113 This is based on the actual fight. Usually the challenger has to TAKE the belt. The ties usually go to the champ. If the judges gave the two ties to GGG it was 115-112

Great fight. Could have gone either way. GGG is a living legend, but Jacobs gets maximum kudos for putting on a show like that only 6 or 7 years after beating bone cancer. Both proper fighters.

Yeah if you judge from "this". Go and watch the entire fight, especially the part where DJ gets dropped and then when the fight was on the line he gets out-gutted in the final round by a guy in his mid 30s. Not to mention the fact that Danny willingly took hundred thousand dollar fine so he could come in over-weight . I as a cancer survivor and a Jacobs fan was disappointed. A little more fighting and less muggin he might have come away with a draw, but thats not what happend. Watch the entire fight not the highlights put together to bias one fighter
