It’s a shame for the boxers to have their big moment somewhat dampened when they look out to a load of empty seats and the front row glued to their phones, but watching from home it doesn’t matter. Quite like that it’s quiet enough to hear the trainers shouting and the impact of the punches. Just glad they’re putting on great cards and that I don’t have to stay up till 5am anymore.

People criticizing the atmosphere is a bit funny. The atmosphere isn't bad it is just different. They are literally complaining about people not being drunk and respecting each other. A civilized and well-mannered culture used to be something people admired and took pride in. I would like to watch boxing in a place like Saudi or Japan without being amongst drunks shouting, farting and barfing all over the place.

Japan held many many MMA and K1 fights and they were very quiet also but they actually reacted to whats happening in the ring, you could hear oooohs and ahhhs and they would clap and cheer at the end which is actually how most people act in sporting venues. Was there even a big crowd there? When they would pan around the arena it looked empty. There is no way you wouldnt get some reaction if there were thousands of people in there.

People who are dismissing the critique of a poor atmosphere are either totally biased towards any criticism towards the event for whatever reason OR they take the criticism personally. The reality is, the atmosphere DOES matter for the events because its one of the key components of the fight or really any significant event. Imagine any other sporting event (just to keep it relatable) and think of any final, derby/rival game where there is no crowd, go and re-watch any lockdown football games where there were no crowds and compare it directly to when they're brought back. Imagine in the fight of lets say AJ vs Vlad and the famous "LIFT OFF FOR AJ!!!!" being shouted by Adam Smith to an either empty Area or in a boxing ring placed in some small hall somewhere that has noone in it. It just doesn't have the same effect. I don't think for the mass majority that anyone would complain about the cards and events that are being put on, quite honestly in comparative years we're being spoiled by Turki and all of those involved. However the reason why Turki etc want to get involved is because they've seen what Boxing nights have been over here in the UK or over in the US and the atmosphere is a huge part of that. You're not going to get I think a straight answer from Eddie, Frank etc about this aspect because understandably they're going to want to protect the efforts being made, however I think for anyone to dismiss the argument of saying that for a card as stacked as the 5v5 with the fights that we were able to see, being played out to what looked like a less than half capacity stadium with it being easy to hear Eddie shouting at times, like its missing that part. Final point I would make.... when was the last time you watched a boxing event held in the UK or US for example, be it a sold out stadium or arena for a big fight, the crowd are going nuts, the commentators are having to shout and you're sat there at home watching thinking "I really do wish everyone over there would just sit down nice and quite and watch the fight in peace"?

The fury usyk atmosphere was good to be fair. Undercard wasn’t great. 5v5 it was pretty poor. But I’m watching at home on tv. So I don’t really care. I just care about seeing good fights. And they were all hard to call fights. Let’s be fair, most of us aren’t going to fly to Saudi for the fights. You can’t drink there. So can’t expect the Saudis to act like Brits and sing songs all fights. Also. Also Hearn just said, if its for the IBF belt it will be Dubois, but if it's not for the belt it cam be anyone. If it's not for the belt, then most people will say Parker deserves the fight more. Also you're forgetting only last year Zhang destroyed Joyce. And Joyce made Dubois quit in the middle fight.
