On October 30th, 2007, stand-out prospect Yuriorkis Gamboa, made his U.S debut against gatekeeper Adailton De Jesus in a six rounder, just in time for Halloween!
Gamboa was being touted as one of the scariests prospects in all of boxing due to his amateur background in Cuba. However, in his way the Brazilian De Jesus, who was coming off a loss in a WBA title eliminator.

I love it how these announcers brag on a fighter like you're doing this guy yeah he's got good boxing skills that somebody needs to teach him how to hold his hands up he's going to get in there with the wrong guy someday and he's going to get clicked on his chin and he's going to fall where maybe if he'd had his hands up he could have prevented this they ought to quit bragging on the guy so much and let's see what he does
