This may be the dumbest idea for a video ever. Yet the execution is brilliant enough to redeem and even elevate the concept. This series has shocked me: I'm thoroughly entertained more than I should be by reviews of a food product I haven't eaten in decades. Bravo and thank you, sir: this deserves a much wider audience.

+Red Cow Entertainment You can do whatever you want with it, because I'm very impressed with your work and would be flattered to be any part of it. Didn't intend for the previous praise to come across in a backhanded way, so much as to illustrate how nonplussed I was of the concept (Think the TV execs hearing George Costanza pitch a show "about nothing"). Clicking "play", I feared some winking-at-the-camera, ironic hipsterdom. That would be easy, predictable, and boring. Instead, I got a fairly high-brow approach (music, editing, camerawork all come across as professional) to examining a low-brow comfort food, presented with what feels like the utmost sincerity. Love the chef's outfit on the host, as well as his presence on camera (the close-ups on many Andrew Zimmern-esque reactions to the food spring to mind). This is similar to discovering the Plinkett reviews: "Why the hell would I want to watch a 70-minute review of the Phantom Menace?"

Excellent series but until you try the Canadian 'Sharp Cheddar" Kraft Dinner, you are doing yourself a disservice. For the more refined mac and cheese consumer, Kraft Dinner Sharp Cheddar has the tart & strong flavour you are looking for. I don't know if America has an equivalent maybe that's why it wasn't featured?
