I love how this almost pays tribute to classic films about giant crabs. He didn't expect to be hit with anything, yet the bullet didn't pushed him in any direction, he most likely just got shocked by the sudden impact and fall DOWN (not sideways) to the ground, and then without any delay just get up. Replace the bodY armor with a WAY thicker and heavier steel plate, ( not on your chest but in your hand, holding in front of you, which also can help absorb the impact as your hand and muscles are flexible) while running in the direction of the coming pellets with all of your momentum AND expect the hits.
