I don’t think Hawk’s cheapshot to Miguel’s hated rival would be something to upset Miguel to that degree. He was probably more upset that Hawk’s blunder eliminated any chance of an all-Cobra Kai final match that would have guaranteed the dojo a champion regardless of the outcome.

The writers keep the lore very intact, and he belonged to Topanga Karate, which is where Devon went after Eagle Fang dissolved, and he wasn't there, and even still that Dojo was dissolved. They would have to come up with an explanation such as him moving to another location or something.

Did y’all forget that at the beginning of this series, Miguel was a weak kid with asthma? Hawk was a nerd with a lip that bullies made fun of and had little to no gym experience. Robby was a skater, he hang with the wrong crowd on the street. Robby already had advantage. Add on that he was tutored 1 on 1 with Daniel while Miguel and Hawk was a class. Ya season 1 Robby was better but I don’t think he had more natural talent. If anything, Miguel had more since he was able to beat Robby season 2. Then he couldn’t walk for half of season 3, while Robby improved via fighting in juvie. Then he beat Robby again in season 5.
