A small detail I noticed during the trailer is that when they're backing away from Huggy together, you can see the red player actually roll their ankle by tripping on the broken apart Bron's neck. And do you know who got grabbed by Huggy first during the big chase? The red one! They were lagging behind because they rolled their ankle!

I seem to have a theory that this happens in the past, before or after the Prototype broke out, because 1. Mommy still has her limbs and Huggy seems to be in mint condition, and 2. Honestly as long as upgrades are tied to in game currency (that you can’t buy only earn, like blood points in DBD) then I think this is gonna be really fun! I have a huge love for these kinds of group to one gaming style. Hopefully they just do the upgrades right and don’t make it pay to win, that’s my only worry but they have templates like DBD to look at for a good set up so I do have faith!

Personally, A way I would find bugs for a game is to ask the player, before the game starts, if their experience can be recorded for the bugs to be found after a report is made, find how to repeat it, and figure out what is causing it, (if your reading this and making a game try it and tell me if it worked)

Yeah, but in a popular game with a million players and average play time of like 5 minutes then that's still several million minutes worth of game footage being recorded across all those players. Presumably this game will have less than a million players but much longer then 5 minutes per game and if everyone plays multiple games then that's millions of minutes of footage you may have to slowly comb through to find bugs since anyone could claim to report a bug even if there isn't one, plus if a game crashes from a bug or performance problem then the recording may end abruptly or get corrupted.

I like the idea of expanding the Poppy Playtime world with this 6v1 PvP title. Seems like a great way to expand on the idea of "What happened after everything went wrong" while making it seem as though the idea that the higher ups still want our "survivors" to be making toys while there are these monsters running around as if to try and play off the legit threat. Going to hope this doesn't fall victim to the MTs. Not just the idea of "Pay to Win" but some games can be rather WTF with how they set their prices for cosmetics. If it's fair, people will buy them. If they aren't fair, then it becomes another chapter in a long running story of people who hate Microtransactions and the current state of games. The game is F2P after all, but hopefully they will find a way to work around the bad mojo that comes with this. ... Then again, there are still people who are still upset that they tried to Fungible the series, so guess we'll see how this works out.

This reminds me almost exactly of Resident Evil Resistance: a team of Survivors filling a variety of roles with perks; a single interchangeable monster attempting to hunt them down; a large map with collectible parts scattered around; even the free-to-play model seems to function exactly like the perks and cosmetics did in that game. Hopefully the devs can learn from RE's mistakes and put out a product that will be able to retain players and stand the test of time.

I've got a mini theory that if the free to play game is canon or semi-canon, there might or were at some point remaining workers sent to retrieve giant toys from the lockdown areas to maybe set up a defensive perimeter with these toys as guardians, maybe using willing participants witch might make the toys more docile towards humans or exoskeletons to bring the toys to life. We might even see them used like big dadys from bioshock protecting kids seeing as most of the monsters seem to hunt for food or for enjoyment.

STUFF I ANALYZED FROM THE TRAILER: Huggy’s abilities. He has 3, a hug symbol…probably related to the grab huggy performed on the red guy. Huggy’s face…probably related to the small Huggy at the beginning. Huggy will probably be able to release small huggys that will do damage to you. Player’s health. They have 3 hearts. Mini Huggys will probably do one heart worth of damage. Footsteps. The hunters can see the player’s footsteps. Mommy can stick to the ceiling. Thats really it. Oh, and customizable avatar and grabpack

I’ve been having this idea run through my head for awhile now. What if they created a toy for this game that was based around two creatures. Little Lamb Father Ram Little Lamb’s toy was a tiny mix between a animatronic and a plushie. Trying to target that tween demographic with the new fancy electronics. As for her monster self she’s extremely fast but can’t kill easily and can’t stay away from Father Ram for too long. Father Ram is a larger creature and was meant to be the boy version of the toy. He’s a Dad to Little Lamb and is supposed to be wise and strong. The monster version of him is actually barely holding onto life. And is being used like a walking capsule for Little Lamb. He’s slow moving but can kill quickly if he lands hits. And when Little Lamb isn’t in him he ceases to move, becoming a husk that players can easily walk by.

Considering that there are 4 people in this trailer, they are probably going to be adding the multiplayer mode that was originally thought to be discarded. In that mode you have four people, as well as a monster chasing you, Huggy or Mommy. I also think that this trailer is showing us the new monster for chapter 3.

This game looks sick. It looks so cool. I also just had a thought that multiplayer for all chapters could possibly work. That might be a stretch but its just a thought
