Boy, 6, and mother killed by school bus in Mamaroneck

I don’t understand why cars are moving when children are crossing the road…..go look at the the corner of Weaver and Boston Post by the Hommocks school, that’s a big intersection and there’s a crossing guard that stops all traffic to allow all children to cross safely. Why is this different one neighborhood over? You’ve got cops giving out parking tickets to anybody that stops to get breakfast less than a quarter mile away but you can’t place a cop at the crosswalk every morning? That’s bs!!!!!!

If they had the light to cross the bus driver must yield to pedestrians just like any driver not because he had the green light makes it accidental he must stop for the pedestrians

How come 4 light stops is a law in Larchmont village but not in Mamaroneck Ave!? Is it the fact that population or minority population leaves in that area!?

To see all these police 👮 officers in their fancy police cars, just on the phone 😮 or why nots,…. There are many instances in Mamaroneck Avenue that there is not a crossing officer,,, In Larchmont always,, not in mamaroneck avenue 😢😮

when a bus have a green light to go straight and made a left he should had made full stop, in so many streets is like that pedestrian is on the walk cross and had the pedestrian cross light on and irresponsible just do not stop for same reason and some law should be in places to avoid a situation from happening again bc something is just wrong
