There's a fan-made video on KZbin about an extension of the plot, where Light becomes a Shinigami after his death, confronts Ryuk again, and learns the rules of the Shinigami world. He then attempts to manipulate the Shinigami God into doing something unbelievable. I won't spoil it here but I hope you check it out! The creators could slightly alter this and make a comeback for Death Note, maybe a season 2? Maybe a movie? I'm sure for Death Note fans, there would be nothing we could ask for more. 😊 And for people saying L is already dead, we still have Near, and we could be able to see how much more he could do as an adult (after a time skip) and how he would face such a situation! What do you think?
