Amazing how guarded George needed to be about his personal life in 1989 or say goodbye to his career. Thankfully we've moved on in many countries - gone backwards in some places alas - since then.

Sue lawley was always awful and insulting to G. She was quite unpleasant during this programme but showed her proper true colours when she stood in for Wogan.
