I remember when I first heard Boy George over the radio, I was still in high school. I was in love with his voice. When I saw his face I was smitten, his clothes, hair ,style and person. I knew in my bones that he was going to go far in his career and I am so glad that he has shared his gift with the world. I will always love you Boy George. Thank for just being you.

Wow, wow, just…wow. Thanks for posting this performance. I can still remember standing patiently waiting for the clerk at Sam Goody at the mall to open their new music shipment so that I could get my hands on the The Martyr Mantras long box CD. I enjoyed that album so much. I had done the very same thing several years prior waiting for them to open the box when Sold came out. All these years later, to see George in such fine voice, doing what he truly loves, and outlasting so many of his contemporaries not just in years lived but also in relevancy and creativity, it’s just the greatest thing ever. It was worth it all those years ago to stash my expensive Canon T50 camera in the bushes so that I could get in the Waking Up with the House on Fire Tour show at the Hampton Coliseum in September 1984. Who knew there would be such a thing as no cameras allowed? Especially since I’d been allowed to bring in my camera to Duran Duran’s 7 and the Ragged Tiger tour at the same venue in March 1984. I just watched the recent San Diego show a couple of nights ago and was stunned at how great the full band all sound. These are truly great days for all fans of Culture Club. Bravo!

Raindrops was my fav happy song as an infant, and my fav song of all "Fellin' Groovy", so must be something in what he's saying. Weird though, if I couldn't see who was singing I'd think it was somebody doing covers. George's voice has changed so much. Great he's so on top with his spirit, hopefully will inspire more 80s artists.
