Now I wasn't there and can't speak for boy George but from what I read and heard and the impression I got was that because of the brake up George said the heck with it all and stopped recording and touring, ECT. with culture club. And I've even heard that this break up fueled his drug addiction. But again I was there. I was born in 85' so it's pretty said if all that's true

Top notch, well written, beautiful song. I break down every time I hear it because it always reminds me of a breakup that I went though about the same time that George & Jon were going through theirs. Jon Moss guapísimo, he visto videos de Culture Club de hace poco tiempo, 2018 y 2019 y están todos los originales, a la cabeza Boy George, quien estuvo en Lima, Perú hace varios años atrás dando un concierto como solista, pero sería estupendo que se presentara Culture club en Perú con todos sus integrantes, sería uno de los sueños hechos realidad. I agree with you in that I think there are still feelings there between them. I do believe that they both truly loved each other because in pictures & in interviews & such you can see it in their eyes when they'd look at each other.... Jon just didn't know how to handle his love with another man I suppose. Sad, I wish they'd been able to figure it out but at least we got great music from them. CC is my all time favorite bands of the 80's.

That's so true Len Xiang. The pain of a break-up can last for years if you let it, and the endless hurt from loss can totally consume your life for a very long time. So many believe that that was the reason that George got involved with drugs. He tried so hard to put out his pain. Crazy thing about pain is that you don't really knows when it leaves, you just know when (and if) it's really gone. I myself am grateful that George is still here, and that we still can hear the sound of his voice with new songs and his appearances on TV and such. The pictures were great in this video and the song "Victims" is one of the most beautiful songs that I have ever heard. Than you so much Hall O'Dowd for sharing this. Amazing.

I think Jon did not know how to value Boy George because he lived on appearances and even though he denied it, it was clear in his eyes that he fell in love with Boy as much as Boy with him, but for fear of public opinion and family rumors, he stupidly denied it. and he preferred to marry a woman when it is noted that he is still homosexual like him there are millions who spend their lives inside the closet great human being Boy George and although his heart ruled Jon was very petite and ordinary for someone as beautiful as him, I read recently that he sued the band because they didn't include him on the new tour Let him see how it feels to be ignored and not be able to enjoy the attention he always received for being in a relationship with a unique artist and great person like Boy George, eternally sweet and beautiful for his fans.
