Never stopped loving Culture Club! Great to see them back together. Fun fact (well, for me, anyway), 'fall' is actually the original British for 'autumn' and was exported to the US centuries ago with a lot of other British vocabulary (not sure about Canada), whilst the British started using autumn from the French 'automne'. I think 'autumn' is used in some parts of the northeast of the US following later migration... So, if you really feel like it, and you're British, you can say 'fall' without it being an 'americanisation' of British English. Anyone still awake? :)

Great information regarding fall and autumn . 🍂 Love both those words . Did wonder before why US people use fall and UK and Ireland people use autumn . Quite interesting that fun fact . I remember reading something similar about the word mad that in the Shakespeare era, it meant angry the way it’s used in US English . 🤔

Maud Noodle yes always so down-to-earth and personable in my opinion, is George, and I agree, gentle as well .Never have read his autobiography (autobiographies?) but It is astounding to me that he’s been a Gary Numan fan from the beginning as well as a Hawkwind fan from the beginning . I’d just always assumed it was strictly US Soul Pop listening for him but, then again, he was/is of course a David Bowie and a Marc Bolan / T-Rex type of person as well .

Goeorge has been clean for years. Heroin is the MOST DIFFICULT drug to kick. My patients are dying left and right due to the heroin epidemic and the things it is now laced with in 2021. Norhing but admiration and respect for George💜. Kudos George, keep up the good work.

Absolutely NOT! After 70's advancements in pop music, 80's was completely garbage up until Michael Jackson released Thriller. Those tacky synthesizers, cheap sounding futuristic-wannabe edits, were not even tolerable. After 70's, today's music is much more superior to cheesy 80's. 80's music sucks indeed.
