I always felt a strong connection to George even as a child. Before i knew anything about sexuality, feeling like an outsider, and dressing "like a freak". Out of all the people that I admire musically and artistically George will ALWAYS be special to me in so many ways I cannot even describe.The press has pretty much humiliated him, and he's risen above time and time again.

Music is music. A person's sexuality doesn't matter but the message means everything! I'm not gay or homosexual but it's important to educate people who have come from more ignorant backgrounds. My brother is homosexual but i still love him regardless and so do mum and dad. I wouldn't have it any other way. God bless Boy George. He was way ahead of his time!

Boy George is my idol lol I respect him and his attitude towards people and at times he may be rude, he has a reason and he just defends himself and like he said owns himself. But I try to own myself too & I'm in high school, 15 years old & I've been listening to him since June of this year & he has made me more confident about my body image because I do track, field hockey, women's choir, band, technology, musical & I put myself down sometimes when I'm not the best which is foolish so he helps me even though I'm not a lesbian but he's wonderful & I would like to visit England one day even though I live in Buffalo,New York!

I just want to add on when he said "you have to love your self." You also have to love your God with all of your heart and declare Jesus as lord and savior of your life. Also know that God loves all his children!!!!!!!!

I love Boy George cos hes intelligent , interesting, & George who would kno better then loving themselves. I don't know where you came from because I wrote that a year ago and for someone who don't even know me to say that you're wrong. I love gay people and I think more churches need to be more gay friendly like mine. I don't think you are a less of a person than I. I don't disapprove of gay relationships. What's with, "accepting God as my saviour" got to do with this video? It's completely irrelevant. Like I said, you're bible bashing! On the contrary, I honestly do respect your love of people and acceptance of homosexuality. I'm an advocate of good people. Last week i went to a beautiful wedding, ruined by a backwards priest who publicly stated he disapproved of gay marriages. I'm not gay, but who is he to judge? Sometimes people of religion misguide those with a lack of education.
