How did this go down back in the day? Did it get a good rating figures/response?

The show's ratings went off a cliff in the 4th season. It was a top 10 show for seasons 1-3 but then down to 30th for the 1985-86 season. That also means the 4th season had the best guest stars! But even Boy George and Rick James couldn't turn it around.
