I think K pop contributed a lot to Asian music concept. To be honest , I don't see much different between different countries . They all sound and look olden or modern K pop . J pop used to have unique style . I still believe J pop has unique style and rhythm , however those J pop is Japanese K pop . I miss Amuro namie era .

I appreciate the introduction but please consider QPop, Vpop and most definitely Ppop. I listen to many AMAZING artists from Kazakhstan 🇰🇿 and absolutely they are unique but sound GREAT. VPOP from Vietnam 🇻🇳 has a wide variety of artists that have some traditional elements and to me the language actually adds to the musical genre. The PHILIPPINES 🇵🇭 the singers on the WISH BUS 107.5, live vocals without any production added tweaks…you can tell they are serious about their singing talent. Jpop is the one that stands out in Kpop, that's why the need of the Kpop industry to introduce them to the Japanese market and that they receive recognition there, because they have their own management of standards, charts and awards, have solidified a lot. As for Tpop, it is a very good industry. Personally I like Jpop more and I have followed quite a few Kpop groups, but not all of them sound good on their way through their Japanese releases, mainly because many BG now sound almost the same and those who try to make changes are not supported and their music get less support.😌

Actually, T Pop is not something new. From my point of view, I think that there are 4 eras of T Pop. 1.First Era - This era was during 1980s and early 1990s. 2.Golden Era - This era was during 1990s to early 2000s. During the 1980s, with the investment from many countries especially Japan, Thailand's manufacturing industry was developed and made Thailand become Middle Income Country. With more wealth, Thailand had more chance to developed entertainment industry. This era was affected much after 1997 Asian Financial Economic Crisis, but the development was still going. 3.Kamikaze Era - Nothing about Japanese history. It is just a name of music company. This era was during middle 2000s to 2010s. There were many popular Boy Groups and Girl Groups from this company. Some groups had Japanese and Korean members. Many Thais also view that this is another Golden Era of T Pop. 4.Diversity Era - The current Era. I think that there are many styles of Thai Boy Groups and Girl Groups and Solo Artists during this era. Thanks to the online platform like KZbin, many new artists and companies have their own way to produce and distribute the songs and MVs. They don’t need to depend on big companies like in the past. For the Idol Style, it began after the great success of BNK48 after they and Koi Suru Fortune Cookie became very popular and became national phoenomenon in late 2017 and early 2018. T Pop has the capacity to become more popular. Even T pop hasn't reached the Asian or Global areana like J Pop and K Pop does, there are many foreigners who are fans of Thai entertainment industry. You can see that there are many comments in English or other languages in many Thai Series or MV videos. I think that the important factor that T Pop is still lacking of is "Continuity". We have great artists and behind the scene working teams, but the development is not so continuous. If T Pop want to go to Asian or Global areana, the development has to be continuous, not only when the music is on the trend. Like the case of South Korean Music. They have to take very long time to reach the global areana like they are today.

Since Japanese music industry is the 2nd biggest in the world, after the US, many companies focused more on the local sale. That's profitable enough. One difference is the song name, most of the Japanese songs have only Japanese name and some very long. Korean songs have English name which is easier to know and remember. Actually, there are many Pops in many countries. By the way, in the South Korean case, Korean is one of or even only Asian nation to sell their Pop oversea. Moreover than profits, the government also wants to promote the Korean culture too. And it is very successful, during the Korean War, even the US soldier came to Korea didn't know where Korea is. And decades ago, when talking about Asian, most of ordinary Westerners, not a diplomat, academic or businessman, knew only Japan and China, now they know Korea. When Korean Wave becomes global phenomenon, many people think that all Asian Pops follow Korea while they actually have had their own Pops for very long time. Just didn't sell abroad like South Korea. I think that Japanese should do more on foreign market.

All the Korean government did was use K-pop to promote the regime. The only thing the Korean government did well is that it considered the infrastructure of the cultural industry important since the 2000s. However, Japan already had that much infrastructure. The only difference between Japan and Korea is that Japan focused on the domestic market. However, Korea put importance on investing again and expanding overseas as companies made more money. In fact, the Korean government has done little. On the contrary, the Korean government has always been an obstacle.

I think JPop came out in 1990s that became extremely popular in Asia music industry, then came K-pop, that lead the Asian music industry. So Backstreet and JPop came out the same time, 1990s. So basically Asian music is influenced by western pop music since the 90s.

Kpop의 음악적 특징의 원류는 '서태지와 아이들'이 시작이지, jpop이 아니며 전혀 닮지 않았다. 단지 스타성이 있는 아이들을 발굴하여 어린시절부터 소속사와 계약하여 관리한다는 일명 아이돌 육성방식을 이수만이 일부 일본의 것을 참조했을지 몰라도 이또한 그 관리가 일본의 것과 다르다. 한국은 노래, 댄스 등의 전문적인 교육을 몇 년에 걸쳐 시키고 데뷔를 시킨 것에 비해 일본은 전혀 그렇지 않으니 말이다. 한국에서 아트스트를 소속사가 전문적으로 트레이닝을 시켜 육성하여 키운다는 발상은 86년에 데뷔한 김완선이라는 가수가 최초이며 현재 그녀는 54세이다. 그리고 그녀는 8090년대 이미 동남아 홍콩 일본등에서 콘서트를 하거나 그곳 방송에 출연하는 등의 해외활동도 했던것으로 알고 있다. 오히려 일본이 kpop의 영향으로 kpop의 트레이닝 방식을 이제 막 도입하기 시작한듯한데 현재의 jpop이 kpop의 짝퉁(모조)이겠지. kpop 따라해서 인지도나 높이고 있는 주제에 자신들의 노력없이 남의 성과에 숟가락 얹는 행위는 하지 않았으면 한다. 추해~

태국,일본, 중국인들의 댓글을 보니 더 심난한데?? 솔직히 케이팝에겐 다른 제이팝, 씨팝, 티팝이랑 비교되는거 자체가 모욕적인 일이지... 서구권 입장에서는 케이팝빼고는 여타 팝들은 듣보잡이지... 암튼간 이런 비교 컨텐츠 제작 저의가 케이팝에 어떡하든 묻어가보려는 비열한 수가 빤히 보이는데.. 한국인들의 댓글에 싫망할게 아니라 능력도 안되면서 시기질투의 저의로 어떡하든 묻어가면서 무임승차 해보려는 짓거리가 추악한것이지
